The era from 1983-1993 is very instructive on how the Jays can proceed now. In fact, if you watch local sports TV, these discussions occur every week in detail. For some reason, you think these kind of discussions shouldn't be allowed here, simply because you are too young or stupid to understand what happened. It's all a turf war to you isn't it ?

What I don't get is why use the 89-93 Blue Jays model? Why not the recent Cardinals model, or (gasp) 2007-2012 Rays model? Why are the 89-93 Blue Jays more relevant than those examples?

 

Answer: Because you're just a dumbass bandwagon fan who really doesn't know f*** all outside of the Jays (and even that knowledge is limited) and you're stuck in the past and apparently somebody misplaced your meds.
