Are you doing DraftKings or FanDuel? I'm considering switching and putting in a bit more money (put in next to nothing to Fanduel).

Time for a pool of funds and get into bigger games

Told you in the PM. I played mostly DraftKings today. Started playing more $3 50/50s tonight and they're all going to cash handily.

I've got Lamb having more points than Sandoval. Might have to do with my temperature adjustments too. 40 in Philly, 70 in Arizona.

Tom Tango's The Book says to add 0.80 ERA to a reliever ERA to adjust for starting.

Edit: By the way, I looked at Heston's projections and he is projected as a starter. If you compare his ZiPS and Steamer projections the stats are pretty much aligned and ZiPS clearly has him as starter so I would not/did not make any adjustment.

Hey Jfas,

Not sure if you want me to post on your form or not. I used your lineup for zips evening on DK but I subbed out deGrom and Pierzynski for Mccarthy and Mccann due to weather concerns. Just let me know!

Steamer is as a reliever though. You should adjust halfway.

I don't see it that way. Steamer is projecting players not expected to have major league playing time, this is indicated by 0 G and 0 GS with 1 IP.

It's also fun to ignore optimals. I've got Mark Canha in one lineup.

Also, Kazmir should mess up Texas.

Pretty sure they have 1 GS if it is as a starter, but FG won't load right now so can't check. Check Steamer600 though. Heston was a reliever.

Edit: Hmm Ya they say 0 GS either way. Steamer600 only way to know.

It's actually the other way around. Projected relievers show 1 G (if you look at a few of the player profiles it checks out). So Chris Heston was projected as a starter. Better fix your code!

This is great info though, thanks.

I'm using 600 right now strictly, and he was a reliever in there. You're right in the one game thing though. Knew there was a way to tell just had it backwards.

He does appear to be listed as a reliever on Steamer600 (indicated by 65 G / 0 GS) but he's clearly not on Steamer and ERA are the same in both. Makes the data pretty unreliable, at least in the case of using Steamer... but based on the ZiPS data I would surmise Steamer600 data in this case is erroneous.

6.55pm

FGDC

26/40 (28.5 points)

50%: 31.33

...my personal lineup scored 14.25 points lmao.

I had 4 lineups and only one actually won something, though barely on the cusp. Wish I'd thrown out a Kazmir/Carrasco combo. Lost 50 bucks! I'm dum.

Detroit will probably be rained out today

Doubt it. It won't start really coming down until the game is over.

Wind is something I want to include, but I don't have directional wind historical data, just velocity at the moment. I have weather and temperature in.

Cool, Rotowire gives you gameday MPH and direction, don't know if that helps. Great work, as per usual mate!
