Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 The bullpen will be fine. 4th in xxFIP- before today. They are throwing strikes, just not always getting the call or luck. But not consistently. The lost games can't be deleted from the standing.
8D Verified Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 tons of f***ing ric flair fans at the park tonight lol maybe just one guy hahah
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 Why? He is right. I'm not worried one bit about this bullpen either. I'm worried about the BP. Our starters aren't going the distance and we can't keep cycling the same 4 arms every day.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 Edwin go deep so I can at least get some points in the HR contest. there you go lol
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and so does everyone else lol
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Just looking over at Greg Holland's stats: He's been worth 7.9 WAR in 221 career innings, this year he's already been worth 0.6 WAR in 10 innings. I don't even...
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 too bad they didn't limit the damage last inning
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I'm not sure who I'd take. Janssen relies on getting calls out of the zone with his FB. Santos can repeatedly mow guys down. Santos's skills are more repeatable I would think. Um Janssen has "repeated" for years while Santos has shown ZERO consistency.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 The KC broadcast crew is terrible. They sure are.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 if our pen didn't s*** it's collective pants Ed's HR might have been more exciting.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Navarro goes deep! nope buck is lost
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 Santos Delabar Cecil Loup are all nails and will be fine. It's the other half of the bullpen that is the only thing you could worry about. No that is the problem! The starters are barely going into 6 innings, reusing the same 4 is going to kill their arm LOL We're going to be 0/6!
8D Verified Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 buck x2 on the same play!! even with a replay!
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 buck does it again!! Buck reacts to long foul balls like a 12 year old boy seeing a naked girl for the first time.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 lmao 0/6 from Gibby reviews
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 someone please shoot those wooo birds
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 flafson with now 5 consecutive correct picks in the HRC lol
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Janssen is crafty as f*** and still has fantastic peripherals. I literally still cannot believe the love Santos gets on here. He's uber-talented yes but Jesus the guy has zero ability to THROW STRIKES. Throwing strikes is kind of important.... Give me a guy who can pound the zone repeatedly with less movement over a guy with a "wipe out" slider who can only control the f***ing thing 30% of the time. Casey Janssen is a better baseball player than Sergio Santos.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Guys, think that on the bright side, the fact that Navarro wasn't given a homerun means that we weren't going to see Greg Holland. That would've been bad guys.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I blame this loss on the rain stopping.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Game over. DFA Sierra, Call up Stros, McGowan bullpen
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 all because the rain had to stop when the jays took the lead in the 5th. Milli Vanilli: blame it on the rain
