This is actually a good thing. If the team gave every replacement-level player a chance to see what they can do... they wouldn't be very good. We need the same corrective action taken with Sierra and Diaz.

 

Well if were just gonna roll with Diaz or Kawasaki I would rather Goins stay up because his upside is definitely higher if somehow he managed to hit respectably.

Diaz has 0.2 WAR and he can't hit as is. He's put up 0.2 fWAR. His defense is excellent and at SS. He might turn into an okay bench piece considering his talent at SS. So yeah he's probably s*** but I don't know if I'd take the same action I would with Sierra (demoting to the fiery depths of hell) just yet.

Good point, no idea what they're doing then. It makes sense to get someone else for 2 days because they won't start him at least until Thursday anyway.
