admin Site Manager Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I've been so busy I haven't followed anything outside of Jays this year. Link to what you think is the play of the year so far.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Best player: Charlie Blackmon Best play: Jose Fernandez pitching
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I feel like this is the best play so far: http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/11493214/v31956823/must-c-catch-revere-makes-outstanding-diving-catch/?query=revere
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 David Lough had a sick grab. I feel like this is the best play so far: http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/11493214/v31956823/must-c-catch-revere-makes-outstanding-diving-catch/?query=revere My boy
flafson Verified Member Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 His face hit the ground while making the catch, ouch.

Convo Verified Member Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 David Lough's was better because he had to fly up into the air http://m.mlb.com/video/v32433257/?c_id=mlb
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 David Lough's was better because he had to fly up into the air http://m.mlb.com/video/v32433257/?c_id=mlb both were nice...but the Revere one still has my vote.
dannyboy Verified Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 both were nice...but the Revere one still has my vote. I agree. Since we're all Blue Jays fans, I'm surprised no one has mentioned this jump throw from Jonathan Diaz yet. It's all arm:
magits Verified Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 This one from Jennings is pretty sick http://m.mlb.com/video/v32354915/must-c-catch-jennings-makes-a-wild-catch-in-center/?c_id=mlb
Convo Verified Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Sorry to say this but I don't think Melky could cover half this amount of ground in LF http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?gid=2014_04_28_tbamlb_chamlb_1&mode=video&content_id=32452893&tcid=vpp_copy_32452893
Convo Verified Member Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Melky might actually be a better outfielder than Matt Joyce. You know something, you might be right. But I'm not kicking Joyce outta bed for Melky!
admin Site Manager Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 Swing and miss by Lawrie with Navarro running and a meatball down the middle of the plate was embarrassing All he had to do was make contact. That's it! s*** like that is why we're a .500 team. a) a player would rather play for him self than what's right for the team. an environment where stupidity like this would even cross a players mind c) no repercussions for the stupidity. It seems like sucha small issues, but all these stupid little things add up and affect the culture as whole.
