Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Reyes looks like he's really overswinging early this season.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Lol Sierra is the new JP Arencebia of the forum. Kid has hardly had any playing time at all this year. Yeah he sucks and our bench is useless but let him get some more ABs. Why? He's not good at baseball, he was never even good in the minors so why expect some sort of magic turnaround in the majors?
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Melky looking like an All Star. Who would have thought that after last year when we couldn't give him away at the trade deadline.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Seriously, how f***ing awful must it have been to play with a freaking tumor on your back.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Oh jose, that was your 1 crushable pitch for this AB
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Luck had nothing to do with Thole's hit. Thats exactly what he was trying to do. He went opposite field yes and that was good, but he can't aim where the ball goes, could have hit directly at Middlebrooks at 3rd.
theblujay Verified Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 The double standard regarding luck on this board is hilarious.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Melky continues to get it done! I love 2 out RBIs
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 So apparently the ump f***ed us once again.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 That one and the first one. I meant the first one. Jose is better at hitting balls down than the ones up.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 The double standard regarding luck on this board is hilarious. It's not luck you gimp
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 So apparently the ump f***ed us once again. Apparently Jose didn't want to be hit, for some reason...
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 By Gomes' reaction you would've thought it was a no doubter.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 The double standard regarding luck on this board is hilarious. I agree with you. These guys have to realize that BABIP applies to both teams.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Did Tabler just say that Joe Carter used to claim that balls didn't hit him when they did? That's probably the dumnest thing I've heard all day, and I've been listening to Buck and Pat for an hour. f***ing Carter. Dem Ribeyes
theblujay Verified Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 You need to stop. This got old 3 days ago. Ironically your jokes about too many Latino players on the team haven't been funny for 3 weeks
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 the way Melky runs is hilarious I think he runs flat footed or something.
theblujay Verified Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 It's not luck you gimp Idgaf what you call it, but you better look at it both ways for both teams.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Dickey is rolling Great, was waiting for the jinx. Now we know who to blame today.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I agree with you. These guys have to realize that BABIP applies to both teams. Yes we totally believe that Josh Thole's .611 BABIP is sustainable.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Did Tabler just say that Joe Carter used to claim that balls didn't hit him when they did? That's probably the dumnest thing I've heard all day, and I've been listening to Buck and Pat for an hour. f***ing Carter. I can remember a few players claiming that balls didn't hit them when they did in that situation, and I'm pretty sure Carter was one. I think Delgado was another. The logic is dumb, but they're right about players doing it.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Yes we totally believe that Josh Thole's .611 BABIP is sustainable. Go back and read some comments on the 8/9/10th pages. Some guys are delusional
