With they way this team is playing and nice weather with the roof open, attendance should be good for the weekend games at least.

I was at the game last Sunday and the crowd was electric. I think it was 48K if I remember correctly. If they stay in 1st or near first the attendance will be more consistent. And hey maybe the weekday games will draw 25 instead of 15 so we don't have to see as many wasted seats.

Having to rethink my baseball tour this year. I was going to try and do KC and St Lou then catch Target on the way back. With the jays looking so good I might just drive down to Minny and catch a few games then jump a flight to toronto for some mid week games . Too frigging long a drive to TO and I like to pull my 5th wheel

Well viewership is kind of irrelevant if they don't have their own network which they prob don't.. so its about what their tv deal pays them.. I would wager its prob not a lot.. I would imagine viewers in that section of FL aren't really coveted by advertisers where big bucks would be paid..

Viewership is relevant if you are trying to gauge actual fan interest, especially in the hope of a new stadium.

Puts them at a massive disadvantage

How much money do the Dodgers get from their new deal? It's insane whatever it is and helps them support that 230M payroll. Revenue sharing will never fully elimintate the disparity (and I'm not suggesting that it should either)

Fans will be there when school is over. Its an absolute nightmare getting to the ballpark sometimes. After work and you get the kids out of school you really don't want to do anything but watch TV. TV numbers are great, and the attendance numbers will take off soon as once traveling becomes more practical.

You can say that about every city, there are more then enough in the core toronto area.

Amazing how many watch on TV, but are unwilling to go to the games.

Don't forget us maritimers and fans out west for whom going to a game can be quite expensive (but follow the Jays because its Canada's only ball club)

Nice

Would love to see 40k on Saturday and Sunday. Team couldn't be hotter.

Too much to ask?

I'm expecting 40k today and a sellout tomorrow.

I think every young child in Toronto should show up and sit around right field for the remainder of the series.

... I'm doing that today.

With team playing like this it should be 35,000+ every game. Because if this team slumps I'm sure it'll take a dive.

On another note, we had 300,000 page views draft day. That's not unique visitors but total number of page views/refreshes, etc.
