So Morrow is taken out after 95 pitches in the 6th inning of a game the Blue Jays were leading by 2 and Gibbons lets Dickey go out for the 7th in this game which was tied...head scratcher for me.

 

I just don't get why the long leash on Dickey.

k... Gibbons need to be fired. Showalter pulls the trigger when his pitcher gives up three and looks rattled. Gibbons leaves him in to walk 2 and hit one and fluke his way out of an inning. Then brings him back for the next inning.

 

He gets in his head that hes going to get X from a certain pitcher or going to manage the BP with a pre-game plan without ever adapting to the changing circumstances.

gibs bullpen management is always puzzling. Wags looked good there. The only good that will come of this is a few more ER for Dickey
