jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Twins had no hits at all. Just awful baseball.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Honestly... blaming the manager for this is flat out dumn. Gibbons didn't throw 3 wild pitches and walk all 3 batters he faced. Santos had an epic meltdown,
8D Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 how many more games can santos' arm hold up with all those sliders each outing.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 this is brutal. Gibbons is not going to make it though April if this keeps up
S33n Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 some of the blame should be placed on Navarro as well. Terrible technique.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 LOL...... Happ knows these runners won't show up on his ERA... I expect him to give in
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Time to fire fat ass gibbons...worst manager ever He can feel free to pack his things, but only after AA and Beeston are fired first. I'd imagine any competent GM/president would want a real manager, not the sloppy seconds that no other team wanted.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Because our best relievers are walking people? no...our best reliever cecil should have pitched this inning....o wait he is only a left specialist and cant pitch a full inning. Gibbons blew this game plain and simple.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Santos was put into an extremely difficult position to succeed. But that was awful. 3 walks. not really. he just sucks.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 Why is Happ in again?
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Ball Ball Ball f*** this team
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 WAIT! My theory is that if we can't throw strikes then there's no way in hell Twinkies will, looks like the weather has effect on this game. Now all we have to do is walk our assees in the 9th I'm sorry, there's no coming back from this.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 You know what we should do? Trade away some young talent for some middle relievers. Am I right?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Gibbons didn't throw 3 wild pitches and walk all 3 batters he faced. Santos had an epic meltdown, He shouldn't have taken out Cecil so quickly. He did not manage the last inning well at all.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 some of the blame should be placed on Navarro as well. Terrible technique. Yeah he could have had 1 or 2 of those
Chappy Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Twins had no hits at all. Just awful baseball. Beyond awful. Don't worry though, Happ is here to save the day, lol.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Can't watch anymore... Might break my phone while touch typing
8D Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 first batter of the season... mauer. nice haha
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Letssss gooo Raptorssssss
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Colabello is going to hit a grand slam.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Putting Mauer on there probably a smart thing though
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Great job Happ you f***ing goober
Chappy Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 He shouldn't have taken out Cecil so quickly. He did not manage the last inning well at all. Perhaps, but Santos is the one that f***ed it up. For many who call him the best in the pen, he sure as he'll doesn't pitch like it often enough.
