G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Lind himself said "it would be a miracle if im good to go by Thursday", giving the impression that the injury is significant enough to warrant a DL stint. He also has apparently been playing through soreness for several games already. Also, last time he hurt his back he missed a month. Exactly. If we go day to day with Lind and it lingers for more than 3-4 days then we wasted days we could have had Gose or Francisco called up to take his spot. All we can ask is that they can tell soon if it's DL worthy or not. The 25 man roster is thin enough without having 2 guys going day to day with nagging issues and not playing.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Reyes, Lind, Rasmus at 50%; Edwin, Goins and Lawrie can't hit................With all that, we are first 8-6
bzapple Verified Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I'll throw something at my computer if gibbons bunts with Pelfrey pitching. Kyle Gibson is actually starting game 1, Pelfrey has been bumped to game 2.
Flamingweazel Verified Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 The Jays should sweep these guys, but got a bad feeling about dickey and a doubleheader with how thin the Jays lineup is.

I'm a little concerned with the knuckleball in this weather, especially with whether he has enough feel in his fingers to throw it.

They are apparently hoping he'll be back this weekend. Looks like it's feeling quite a bit better today.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I wonder how many people will be in the stadium today. I'd be surprised if it is over 8k

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 With all the stuff the firewall blocks here at work, I can't believe that MLB.TV works. I can't even go to ESPN or CNNSI, those are blocked. LOL. But I can watch this game no problem.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I think Edwin is finding out why Jose wore the sunglasses lol
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Tight strike zone could be a problem with the knuckleball
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I thought it was Pelfrey pitching? o.0 He's going tonight He was scheduled for last night. They just decided to use Gibson earlier for whatever reason.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I have a bad feeling about RA today, prove me wrong dickey!

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Man, if Thole takes a foul ball of the bare arms in this weather, it's gonna hurt like hell.
