IIRC...last place team gets 4 balls down to 1 for 16th, randomizer, is final.

 

We're doing it a little different then the DDL. All non-playoff teams are entered into the lottery to determine the order. The odds will be the same as the actual ones used in the NHL.

I think we should use the ones that the NHL will implement in 2016. The ones that they are using in 2015 guarantees that whoever finishes last will get McDavid/Eichel

Its the same odds but you have a lottery for the first 3 picks instead of just the first pick. That way if you finish last you could theoretically fall to number 4. As well all the teams who don't make the playoffs still will have a chance of getting the first pick, all be it a small one.

Yeah that makes sense. Random question but since I joined the league after the prospects were drafted I don't know the answer to this. How do the farm teams work in relation to when prospects get called up? Can we move them up and down from the farm team to our actual team week to week?

Wow, robbery by jaysblue. Zajac is pretty much a non-asset, so it's basically Draisaitl for Duchene. Duchene is only 23, and the odds are pretty small that Draisaitl is ever as good.

113 points in 118 games over the last 2 years, and he's only 23. Draisaitl is apparently better though.

Will be better. Leon is ranked 3-4 top 25 players under 25. He is also the best Oiler.

 

There's probably like a <5% chance Draisaitl becomes better than Duchene or Taylor Hall.

Time will tell. Thankfully for me I'll only have to wait 2-3 years to rub it in and you guys should still be around for that.
