I wanted to make an offer for Rask but it felt like he was a threat to retire at any time.

Agree, but it was a risk I was willing to take. I know I will get one year out of him and we'll see what happens after that. Hellebuyck + Rask + Georgiev now puts me in the upper class of goaltending in the league for sure.

So is Spittin tanking? He's had 3 guys IR eligible, and a DTD eligible and hasn't done squat, this was supposed to be his sport and we were all in trouble, 4 weeks in DGAF!!!

I need a ruling on whether Harley is legal. I can't put him in the minors because he played a playoff game. If not I have found another pick.

 

But moving forward go ahead and message me that I'm up and move on. I'll take a zero window. I am moving and don't want to hold things up

Playoff games don't count as service time for the league, so I don't see why it wouldn't be a good pick.

I dropped a player that had NHL PO experience, no damn way. I'd neither have dropped him or I'd have already drafted player in back even in this draft.

Obviously I don't know how this league works but in the baseball leagues we look at service time which would not count playoff games as experience.

No. Also, this isn't the first time it's come up in the past. The DDL uses call ups as game experience. If anything the league rules need a tweaking. We've been rolling with this since inception of the league. Idk... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Going by precedent Harley isn't valid for the prospect draft. See below.

Nope, he was eligible for waiver draft. No NHL experience for this draft, whether it be playoffs or regular season.

 

Sandin then. I probably should have put some prep time into this lol.

Rules will need to be tweaked after if we move to a full dynasty and 1 draft system. Current voting is 8-3 for it. Need 9 to pass.

I don’t believe so but I may be wrong.

 

I'm with JG34 on this.

 

Was stated drops had to be made at the beginning of the draft, we ended up extending it to the team's first picks. There have already been some dissolved picks passed, can't see how we can make an exception here.
