Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Can't take Colby seriously with a normal persons hair cut.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Lind better dresser and hitter than Rasmus (Though Lind's suite doesn't appear all that well fitted) nothing wrong with what Colby is wearing... it's the fact that he's wearing out a path in the turf dragging his ass back to the dugout after striking out that is a problem.

When Izzy and Diaz have been doing better then lawrie and Rasmus you know there is a problem.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Griffin thinks Dickey is selfish, is not a good leader, and that Gibbons' manipulation of the starting rotation is a bad idea. Read at your own peril: http://www.thestar.com/sports/bluejays/2014/04/09/blue_jays_rotation_revolves_around_whats_best_for_ra_dickey_griffin.html now if they can just convince Dickey that Thole is a sack of s*** and that Kratz is the guy, we can trade off and let Dickey pitch where and when he wants.

kgm1 Verified Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Melky definitely hitting the juice for a new contract. Already surpassed his HR total from last year already lol. Just like Bonifacio surpassed his hit total from last year. hopefully he has a smarter supplier this time . And of course follows the Doc,s instructions as to what timeline to taking them cause he'll be tested as often as they can
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 did you get my PM? Just noticed it!

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 resign Melky with a clause that voids the contract if he gets caught. I wonder if MLB rules wouold allow?
kgm1 Verified Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Well it wasn't COMPLETELY error-free. Bautista got picked off. Defense is stellar though. That was a play that required perfect execution to get him . If that throw was off at all he gets back in safely . If Oberhltzer can repeat that throw most of the time he is going to pick off a lot of runners .
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I wonder if MLB rules wouold allow? why not... it's a perfectly reasonable clause in an era where they want to appear to care about PEDs. if they disagree they look like they really dont care... win win!!

Jose got picked off a couple times in ST, ran when he had no chance and it was a bad time for the team, now it's carried over to the season. he needs to be sharper.

Arod,s stupidity astounds me .

I imagine if he has already been tested. 4HRs in 4Games by a previous offender I don't see and reason that he would not be tested yet.

I don't disagree , just pointing out that it was perfect execution by the Stros.

Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Who do you guys think is the first one to come out of it. Lawrie or Colby.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Too true , I want him wearing out pitchers not suits. If I was in charge... I'd cut off all external contact for Rasmus and Lawrie and do hitting drills until their hands bleed or until they hit in games. I wouldn't lift the ban all year. cut them off and make them focus. they might not like it to start but I'd bet they would come back to say thanks for being so hard and making them all they could be. Ramus and Lawrie shouldn't be doing any non baseball events for the team.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Who do you guys think is the first one to come out of it. Lawrie or Colby. Drew
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I don't disagree , just pointing out that it was perfect execution by the Stros. it's only a perfect play because Jose left the back door open and got caught with his pants down, again. he used to be money on the bases. I think the only hitting bombs and getting walks thing is wearing on him.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Who do you guys think is the first one to come out of it. Lawrie or Colby. Colby. I have seen Colby goes through stretches where it seems like all he can do is strikeout and couldn't possibly get a hit but he always comes around.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 It was a week day game in april. The weather has been s*****. Most people would rather watch the game on TV over heading downtown on a cold day where it was overcast and rainy. Nobody should be concerned by this. It's also the 4th home game of the season, and it's 2,500 less people than the lowest attended game last year. Take it however you want.
flafson Verified Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 When people buy tickets a long time ahead, what you see now on the stands probably reflects what has happened during the off season. I'm sure if we will have a winning record next week and be able to hold on to it for a while, the stands will reflect that.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
