JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 go score some runs now please. it's the Astros!
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Everyone is better than Happ. And no way AA does that trade without a reliever coming over as well. The reliever we got in the Happ trade, David Carpenter, was one of the best relievers in the NL last season lol. 1.78 ERA, 2.83 FIP in 65.2 IP.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 The sample size that is currently available is sufficient for pretty much everyone but you, Caper, and Alex Anthopoulos. He can't hit. I believed in what I saw in his approach going back to last year that he has potential. Now Seitzer sees it and believes Goins can be a decent hitter. That's good enough for me, especially with a proven MLB hitter like Seitzer coaching him. Give him a bit of time, Jesus.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Buehrle being Buehrle. Dunno how he does it, but it's so effective. His stuff is so flat.

kgm1 Verified Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Izzy is taking Goins job away. I expect Goins to go down when Reyes comes back
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Buehrle being Buehrle. Dunno how he does it, but it's so effective. His stuff is so flat. he messes with hitters timing/balance as good as anyone.

Convo Verified Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 he messes with hitters timing/balance as good as anyone. He also locates extremely well. Seems pretty clear how he does it.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Shi Davidi mentioning Chad Jenkins and Kyle Drabek in the same sentence as prospects he's been compromised, take him to get put down
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Why isn't Buehrle getting those calls? No respect.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 #robo-umps please very good AB for Ed.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Oberholtzer is just cruising. Hes going atleast 7 strong tonight. Oberholtzer is a pretty decent young pitcher. Throws strikes, gets whiffs. Could be a building block for the 'Stros.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 lol Turf steals us a run.
