S33n Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 How do the blackouts work? I live inside the Bluejays viewing territory. If I use 'Hola Unblocker' will I be able to watch all Jays games? $110/year seems very reasonable, especially considering I will be splitting the fee with my roommate. Has anybody had any issues running multiple devices at the same time? If most Jays games are blacked out, and there's no way to get around it I don't think I'll bother spending the money. Thanks in advance.

KevinGregg Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I used mediahint on firefox to watch jays games last season with no issues. I normally am blacked out
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I didn't have any blackouts last year for whatever reason. I've watched both Jays games this year on archive, so I don't know if that will continue. If I'm blacked out I'll use Mediahint.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I like to watch everything on my TV through my Playstation which has MLBTV. Is there a way to use a proxy to watch it through the PS3?
RickyWalks Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I've not been blacked out of the Jays games so far. Just plain Chrome and a Canadian credit card address.
S33n Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 Sounds like I'll be watching HD feeds of BlueJays baseball this season. Does anybody have experience with using multiple devices at once? Thanks everyone for your replies.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 It just said I was blacked out, I exited twice and it worked the 3rd time
RickyWalks Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 It's sort of annoying though because the web browser is behind the At Bat stream by quite a bit. Will be nice once they allow Chromecasting the At Bat app
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 First time watching a live Jays game tonight... no blackouts for me.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I live in the States, so I dont have a problem.
S33n Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 Just purchased. Jays stream worked fine the first time, had a plugin failure and had to re-load, it said it was blacked out. Then I tried again and it works fine...
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 In Markham and no blackout here.
Brenner Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Anyone else having trouble tonight? They seem to be having server problems.
JugglingPitches Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Anyone else having trouble tonight? They seem to be having server problems. Yep. Getting really annoying.
Brenner Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I was watching through my xbox, gave up and now watching on PC with no problems. Frustrating.
admin Site Manager Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Any other way to get the games, preferably HD? Probably not going to get a chance to watch a ton of games this year, and dont' really want to spend $20/month for 5-10 games a year.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 somone who watches on PS3 please help me. Bought mlb tv premium. The games seem to freeze every 2 seconds then play. Its not a server problem cause when i searched on google looks like a lot of people hadd this problem but could only find posts from 2-3 years ago. Can anyone provide me with a fix for this?

S33n Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Anybody find it a bit glitchy while trying to toggle from watching 4 games back to 1, or watching 2 games and then back to 1? I was having a bit of problems in firefox and switched to chrome, but all the same problems seemed to persist.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I love MLB.TV Great deal Amazing quality though XBOX/PS4
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I love MLB.TV Great deal Amazing quality though XBOX/PS4 I've had some problems the first few games, typical for start of new season and I hope they get it worked out soon. they always change the program during the off season. this year they have started completely new and there are glitches. it's not dumping properly on smart tvs. that is causing crash issues. it goes for an hour and then I have to power cycle to get it to run again. I hope they figure out the buffer issues soon.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I always prefer an outboard source component to having the TV run apps. At least for now. my pc is hard wired through an HDMI cable, but I like the ability to let me pc do pc things and my tv to take care of the rest. the smart app is great when it works, but they made some negative changes and they need to be addressed. I'm not the only one having problems. I've been in touch with the help desk and gave them a solution. have to see if their tech nerds are smart enough to understand what a told them to do. a buffer clear is quite easy actually.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 What's considered the Bluejays viewing territory?
