G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 MB wasn't kidding hes ready for April this year. Which is great compared to last year when he sucked so bad in April We NEED quality SP from the start this year or we're f***ed
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Melky on Steroids #inb4 media rage
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Buehrle's closer than you think; could get to 50 career fWAR this year. If he keeps chugging along for five more seasons... maybe. I think he could be a lock for the dinosaurs at the BBWAA. Gold Gloves, consistent seasons, bulldog on the mound, 2 no hitters, etc
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 He would actually very much be in the conversation. Not a first ballot but I can see him getting in. Especially if hes pitches another 4 or 5 years which he can. I can see him pitching well into his 40's. Hes never been overpowering. You wanna bet on that, if Kevin Brown is a no go then Buehrle has no chance

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Melky's stat line so far is all fluky BABIP singles... no walks or XBH. Let's calm down a little on him.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Melky's stat line so far is all fluky BABIP singles... no walks or XBH. Let's calm down a little on him. It's obviously unsustainable but none have been "fluky," he's drilling line drives left and right. Good AB Gump!
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 And Jack Morris He's like the left handed version of jack morris but nice
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Moore is getting squeezed a bit here. I'll take it
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Nobody has a chance if Kevin Brown is a no go. He's like Jim Rice in that you can't use him as a barometer for admission.

He has smoked every ball he's hit These are not lucky little flares s***, he's drilled some balls right at defenders too I don't remember a weak out all three games
