Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Your telling me if this Rays team was in Montreal they wouldn't be packing the house in August and September for this team in a playoff race. Please that place would be packed every night. They didn't support the team because they felt screwed. And its also a different time and a different generation. That town had baseball heroes don't tell me they don't care. Maybe they would but for how long? That stadium is s*** and Quebec only seems to wanna build hockey arenas

That town had baseball heroes don't tell me they don't care. Look at the attendance records. When the economy was booming and they had great amounts of success in 1994 they only showed up around 24 K a game. Yes, I do think if the Rays go to Olympic Stadium they'll draw in the same low # of crowds
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 melky is going to be huge this year too
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Good baserunning/hitting there. Make them pay Gump.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 Melk Man!!! Come on Gump!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Lovely! Melky probably has more line drives this year already than all of last year combined lol.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Great hit and run for Cabrera.. c'mon Rasmus!
Ehjays Verified Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Melky on with a single man at 1st and 3 rd now cmon guys
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Dammit Gump, wait for your pitch, the high strike and the ball in the dirt are not something you should be swinging at. Almost guaranteed k now
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Obviously they would only get a team back if they were building a new stadium. Olympic Stadium is a s*** hole and always has been. Downtown MTL is beautiful during the summer. Put a stadium in and let them play outside. People from Montreal want to get outside as much as possible. It sucks being stuck indoors in the summer after 6 months of snow. 100%
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I don't like Rasmus hitting second, should be Lawrie.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Good battle Gump. Run that pitch count up.
xenon22 Verified Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Rogers on demand doesn't work for me this year. Says I need to be a Blue Jays live customer or something. Anyone have a link to the game? Or is that not allowed on this board. Sorry, I am new here.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Gonna be a slider down and in Good call, Rasmus apparently thought so as well.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I don't like Rasmus hitting second, should be Lawrie. against a righthander, nope
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I don't like Rasmus hitting second, should be Lawrie. I don't mind this against RHP Lawrie doesn't take enough walks, though he is a better contact hitter
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 4 straight off speed pitches. Fastball coming.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Oh FFS Rasmus. You can hit that.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Was a nice pitch, same thing he tried to throw Lind, but this time it was placed perfectly
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Good pitch from Cobb there, at least we drove the count up a bit.
