G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Do you use MLB.com or the MLB at bat app to watch the Jays? If so, would be helpful to report if it works or not for watching the Blue Jays where you live. This info might help some people decide whether to subscribe or not. If you have the app or use the service, please try to watch a few games and report success of failure and let us know if was on a computer or smartphone and where (roughly) you live. Today being an early game thought more than usual might try.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Yes, I use it both on a computer and with AtBat. I've never had any blackouts, either in Toronto or other places within Ontario. The blackout should exist for every Canadian locale, regardless of how far they are from Toronto. But it doesn't happen for me.
Sorrow Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 So far I haven't had problems on the phone, PC or PS3 in Ottawa, tonight will be the deciding factor I think though.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 Last year I could watch jays on my PC and on my phone no problem. Live in New Brunswick Will try both for today's game
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 They didn't blackout Jays games last season.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 They didn't blackout Jays games last season. For anyone anywhere? That's what it seemed like. Seems odd but it's great. Curious if they do the same this year.

I read that multiple places. A couple years ago I used the media hint add-on on firefox to watch mlb.tv I don't know if that still works.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 unblock-us.com Yeah I used that for a while. $5 a month but worth it for some.
