G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Hutch came up to sign some autographs and he said "I gotta sign quick, I don't have long" and I was like "Hey Drew, could you sign my ball" And he took my ball and I was like "Thanks man" and Drew was like "Yeah no problem man" Cool
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 It was a baseball? LOL Good one
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 You live in Florida?? He is down in FLA with family according to previous posts
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Jose Molina was usually good for an autograph. I'll never forget the time A.J. Burnett stayed and signed for every single person of a crowd that must have been at least 150 people. It was spanning multiple sections and rows. Love A.J.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 No, on vacation. Yes. Bautista signed, I didn't expect him to. He signed in the dugout though and had security guards pass him the stuff to sign from above the dugout...... Nice!! I still have a glove signed by Travis Snider lol

I have a LOT of autographs and I've never gotten a live one from him. You're very lucky on that count.

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Author Posted April 1, 2014 Bitch I have a glove signed by Brandon League Can you trade it for a Morrow signed glove?? lol
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Can you trade it for a Morrow signed glove?? lol I have a Brandon Morrow signed photo in that sexy black alt jersey right beside my bed that I've had since shortly after he was acquired. Realistically, he probably won't be amazing, but I really, really hope he does well.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 LOL @ the signed glove throw down boys. Hahahahaha
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I had signed d'Arnaud and Syndergaard gloves, but I traded them for an old bike. The bike isn't very fast but it's kinda wobbly so I thought it was cool. Regardless the bike isn't as cool as I thought it was going to be so I should probably just get rid of it. Maybe I can trade it for a glove signed by a player to be named later.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Did anyone notice Dickey's top knuckleball velocity? In his 2010-2011 years he was able to throw up around 82 with his 'faster' knuckleball... last year he was peaking around 80 or so I observed. Obviously this wasn't really the problem tonight considering his poor command... so just wondering.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 It's too bad for Dickey, he's a stand-up guy who goes out there and gives it all he's got, like Buehrle. It's not his fault AA went full retard and overpaid the way he did to get him.

Convo Verified Member Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 agreed I liked that he didn't make any real excuses this time...
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Moogy: Time to move on instead of re-hashing last night's arguments That's tiresome
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 We weren't expecting to win the opening game anyway guys. Hutch will give a solid start tomorrow and we'll win 4-2. The Rays offense is nothing special, just don't walk anybody. They scored all their runs on Dickey and Jeffress ,big deal. Lets see what they can do against Hutch and the rest of the pen. I still say we split the series. Anything else?
Convo Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Anything else? Why are you replying to yourself?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Why are you replying to yourself? s***, can't get anything by such a clever boy like you.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 s***, can't get anything by such a clever boy like you. Do you really need more dislikers?

It's not their fault they're called on to lead a rotation to a division championship. Still very useful SP's to have.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Do you really need more dislikers? So having a little fun with the prediction I made is not considered acceptable behavior here? Why do you feel the need to trash? You insecure about something, I don't get it.

Convo Verified Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 It's already been mentioned but more vaguely, so thought I'd share this. Dickey's max KN velocity was 77.8, he averaged 74.9 with it. Last season he was maxing out around 80-81 but the average was just slightly higher at 75.8. Though the average is a loopy stat to go with since I'm pretty sure Dickey throws a soft, medium, and hard KN intentionally.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
