As an overweight ginger batboy, Jesse Litsch should be the unanimous choice. The question could be expanded to "least favourite professional athlete" and he should still be the victor by an overwhelming margin.

No soul, big belly...enough said.

Miguel Batista, truly loathe when Gibbons called for him from the pen

He came out of the bullpen to that Coolio song "Gangsta's Paradise" lol not intimidating at all.

I don't know how you guys can hate Jo-Jo Reyes or Laffey.

These guys know they don't have a lot of talent, don't get paid a lot, but they come out and give it everything they have to try and help the team.

Sadly, those were the best pitchers we had available after being hit by injury. Why do you blame them?

My pick is Ted Lilly.

August 21, 2006.

The Jays build up an 8-0 lead after two innings. Lilly precedes to surrender seven runs in the third inning, and then has a tantrum because Gibbons wants to remove him from the game.

He felt he was entitled to continue, because he remained in line for the win. He didn't care that he was single-handedly blowing an 8 run lead.

That was a jerk move from Ted Lilly, though other from that incidence I really liked him as a pitcher. He was a great pickup by JPR and he went on to have a very good career, especially in the NL with the Cubs and Dodgers.

OP was asking for pitchers, but I bet if it was a position player, Rios and Wells would likely be in the top 5 on the majority of lists, deservedly or not.

For pitcher's, I really hated Chris Carpenter. He stunk every year he pitched for the Jays, then after surgery and was released, became a perennial Cy Young candidate out of nowhere.

Yeah that was basically a huge bite in the ass. He sucked while he was here, misses a whole year and then is one of the best pitchers in baseball for the next 4-5 years.

That didn't bother me... that's the Jays fault, not Carpenter's

It's Carpenter's fault that he would mow down the first 12 batters in order than fall apart.... again and again and again.... damn frustrating as a fan

I'm surprised only one person has mentioned Jeff Tam. The Jays gave him plenty of innings for a while and I think he walked more batters than he struck out. Actually how about the whole 2003 Jays bullpen? They actually had a good team that year but nobody could close.

Cliff Politte was awful as well that season. Trevor Miller was a pleasant surprise and Aqualino Lopez ended up being the teams closer at the end though he completely exploded in 2004 and then never was heard from again.

Kerry Lightenberg is the worst major league pitcher I have ever seen.

Yeah all those BP acquisitions by JPR in the 2003/2004 offseason turned out to be awful. Lightenberg, Adams, De Los Santos. Speier was really the only good BP arm acquired that offseason.

Wang, Dickey, or Johnson? Ted Lilly was by far my favourite, especially his left hook.

This f***er should be banned, not because of who he is, but for posting the least humorous post I have ever read on this forum.

I get that it's your "thing" to be dissident but this time you're being ridiculous.

Todd Stotettlemyre, hated that guy so much, he played for a lot of good Jays teams and I always thought he sucked.

Currently I hate Happ with a passion, cant stand watching that guy pitch for the Jays.

Bruce Tallet. Actually not sure if I hate him or Cito for being a dumbass with how he used him.

How many times do you remember screaming at the TV for Cito to take him out?

I think it has to be Cordero for me.

For some reason his fat face made the predictable ineffectiveness all the more annoying that year.

4.5M, lol.

I feel we would have had a chance at the playoffs if Cordero and Francisco were not on that team.

Josh Towers for me too. What made it worse was he has a fan club of morons who thought he was actually a good pitcher. Coupled with his attitude problem, the only thing that could have made it worse was if JPA was catching him.
