Luis Perez reassigned, expected to start season on DL

LHP Luis Perez, C Derrick Chung and C Jack Murphy were reassigned to minor league camp according to Rotoworld.

 

Luis Perez had offseason shoulder surgery, and is expected to start the season on the DL, meaning one of Wagner or Jeffress will make the team.

They will probably put a few more on the DL to make sure everyone will fit.

Totally inexcusable to not have signed a Jeff Baker, Justin Ruggiano etc.

 

I can understand if were cash strapped and can't afford a big addition like a Santana, Garza, Jimenez etc, but for christ sakes add a couple million dollar bench player.

 

Someone like the two mentioned above can play multiple positions in a pinch and mash lefties. Unbelievable that one hasn't been added.
