G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 yeap... every game so far. we've been lucky to have 2 against the phillies who show every game and a Yankees game. Good production values too Regular season caliber camera work
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 It is a steal, that's why (when I get a job) I'll get MLB.tv this year. See my comment above Your parents have cable or satellite TV?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 Yup. There really isn't a need for cable at all anymore. Hulu, MLB.TV and Netflix (using VPN servers or other workarounds to access American servers) really gives no reason for Cable anymore. The home internet here got updated to 300GB/month so usage isn't an issue anymore, I can easily hook up a laptop to a computer and watch everything I need online now for only ~$200 a year
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 I forget how young some of you guys are sometimes lol. Hey don't knock my age! I always went with my dad to work for the past 8 years because I had nothing to do at home/outside. I worked for many years, just focused on my last year of HS now See my comment above Your parents have cable or satellite TV? Yeah they have cable, but we can't cancel it because they actually watch it lol
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 I asked my dad. He told me that if I got MLB.TV I would never leave the house Or you will leave the house....... to go and sit in the front porch and stream games to your smartphone lololol
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Good production values too Regular season caliber camera work I dont mind Stairs. Rance makes Matt sound like a genius.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I asked my dad. He told me that if I got MLB.TV I would never leave the house It is obvious that your Dad wants you out.

Just drop a channel pack and use that money for MLB.tv or Netflix.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 The ages work out. Maybe if his Mom is in her mid thirties now.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Another thread going to s*** fast LOL
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 129 is a steal but for a poor university student every dollar I have to spare goes to bars/beer.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Nah, some decent discussion regarding MLB.TV in here Yeah you're right
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Split it with a group of friends None of my friends care about baseball enough, especially when all the jays games are on tv.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Get new friends Most of my friends care about the jays, but finding someone that cares about the rest of the league is rare
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 None of my friends care enough about baseball either. The ones who like baseball are only Jays fans; they don't see the appeal in watching two other teams.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 My landlord pays the internet bills and it's getting much easier to find good streams which helps.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 129 is a steal but for a poor university student every dollar I have to spare goes to bars/beer. Idiot
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 every dollar I have to spare goes to bars/beer. I hope that's a joke. If not, then you aren't very smart.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I hope that's a joke. If not, then you aren't very smart. Spending money on going out with friends before I graduate in a few months makes me an idiot? After groceries, bills, and insurance, then yes? It's only like 200 a term? What else am I going to spend it on? MLBtv to watch by myself? lol
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Idk I just think that blowing all your money on alcohol every weekend is pretty dumb. But if that is what you like to do, then fine. I just believe in saving up a bit of money for bigger purchases.

I just believe in saving up a bit of money for bigger purchases. I'm not going out every weekend, and I'm only talking like $200 over 4 months. I'm not going to stay indoors alone every night.. I've spent 80-90k on school over the last 4 years without any debt and help from family, so I've done quite well I like to think.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Are you advising him to spend it on hookers? Haha, yes. That is exactly what im saying. Spend it on hookers and strippers
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 $200 a term is pretty reasonable for alcohol in a term. That's ~$12 a week.
