Oh stop bickering you little old lady. We're all supposed to be fans here so we should just all get along.

Thanks for the advice, but I do get along with everyone. I think I'd give these guys 3 or 4 outings before worrying about velocity and such things that's all.

Redmond should be kept as depth. Him and Rogers can be long relief/spot starters on this club, which will be needed throughout the season and if/when J.A. Happ has thrown 100 pitches after 4 innings in some starts.

But anyone expecting Redmond to be as good as he was last year will be disappointed. I think best case he is a long reliever in the bigs.

Some thoughts on Navarro's catching: I've seen 3 of 4 pitches called for strikes when Navarro was setting up on one corner, but the pitch ended up on the opposite corner and he had to reach out to catch it and was quiet enough to get the call. Full SSS-caution in effect, but just something I noticed.

Seriously though is nobody going to sign Drew or Santana... At this point they have to accept they won't get what they want. I didn't want Santana on a 3 or 4 year deal. But 1 or 2 years I'm in. I don't want to mess around with Happ, Rogers, or Redmond to much longer. Rogers can be the long man I'm ok with that.

It doesn't make much sense for the blue jays to give up their pick and sign him at this point. They are going to finish in last even with Santana on the team. How much better does he really make this team, very very slightly better. If he's available in June or wherever there's no pick attached then re-examine it then. At this point, this is a last placed team, why spend more money on it for it to still be in last place or second to last?

You're probably right, but he was a legit MLB starting pitcher last year and both Oliver and Steamer think he's a legit back-end starter this year. Considering he makes 500k this year, I don't think you DFA what could be useful depth. Even if he's a 1-win starter, that's useful.

Does Redmond have any options left?

Fatty up with two on!

Is he fatter than the Molina bros? Baseball should celebrate it's fatties, kind of like the NFL does on Turkey-Eating Day showing them O' and D' linemen stuffing their faces with turkey!

Nope. That's why everyone want him on the 25-man to start the year. They have to DFA him if they don't keep him.

Meh,he might provide a bit of value as a long man. Someone will have to be the sacrificial inning eating lamb.

I'd say fatter than Yadier, but not as fat as Jose or Bengie. He's fat though.

s***, forgot about Yadier, I was only thinking of Jose and Bengie, lol.

Swap him for Lawrie. So Lawrie can become a superstar.

The Jays should try to go and Grab him if the Yankees don't promote him, or even Solarte (another 2B).

Jeffress is awful.

Been saying this for a long time. Why people want him in this team is beyond belief.

Reyes shoulda ran to 3rd!

Nah.. Spring training,he's also in scoring position with two out. Even in the regular season he might of stayed at second. With one out,its worth a shot.
