ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Too bad for Getz Goins has already been announced as the 2B
aselvana Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 ricky romero keeps us in the game, and we have the lead....
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Boy, Baltimore's bullpen is going to be in trouble if Escalona makes the team.. the Jays are pounding him. Edgmer's gonna get DFAd if he keeps pitching like this.(he's on the 40-man)
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Josh Johnson was a catcher
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 3 Run Homer by Dan Johnson! http://gfycat.com/MasculineRingedFlicker
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Thole IIRC He looked really good on that. I don't remember him being a good framer but I guess it's hard to say since he mostly catches Dickey.
flafson Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Did he just say that Kratz is better defensively and Thole better with the bet? Thole was really bad last year...
BabbaGanoush Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Oh god damn it, wanted to laugh at Ricky for one more inning
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Thole is a decent framer as well. I was doing a little pitchfx framing work and had both Thole and Kratz at around +10 runs/season for framing. I wonder if catching a knuckleball by forcing you to be quieter and wait longer on the pitch makes you a better framer? JPA saw a big improvement last year and I think it might be because he worked with Dickey in the off-season.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 That was rather quick That's what she said...
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 As much as I usually find orioles commentary hard to listen to it isn't making my ears bleed like listening to buck and rance has this spring
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 As much as I usually find orioles commentary hard to listen to it isn't making my ears bleed like listening to buck and rance has this spring I think 2K Sports got me ready for Gary Thorn lol Getz up with 2 on and no outs
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 aaaaaaaaaand Getz grounds into a fielder's choice
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Ricky Romero: "It could've been a lot worse ... I got three good hitters out after those two walks & threw strikes when I had to." "I'm taking it pitch-to-pitch -- I'm not worried about anything else."
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 Great baserunning from the Jays! Fake steal to 2B and they steal home!
flafson Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Great baserunning from the Jays! Fake steal to 2B and they steal home! More like pure luck
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 It hasn't? What have you been listening too? lol Brandon "Maroe" "Hutchinson" "Jay" Gibbons Josh Johnson was our backup catcher Josh "Tole" new to the club Brett "Lowrie" still better than listen to the horrendous PR ******** coming out of the jays camp. Rogers has clearly given orders that the commentators have to blow the Jays Franchise between every pitch.
Sparky12 Verified Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I swear if we have to watch Happ, Redmond or Rogers start games this year instead of hutch I may just have to stop watching, a 4 5 of hutch and Stroman would be very exciting to watch. However I don't think Stroman should spend a couple months in AAA to start the year
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 We're about to go 4-0, take in the winning feeling while it lasts!!
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Is our new knucleballer coming in? Nope
