Thole is a decent framer as well. I was doing a little pitchfx framing work and had both Thole and Kratz at around +10 runs/season for framing.

 

I wonder if catching a knuckleball by forcing you to be quieter and wait longer on the pitch makes you a better framer? JPA saw a big improvement last year and I think it might be because he worked with Dickey in the off-season.

I swear if we have to watch Happ, Redmond or Rogers start games this year instead of hutch I may just have to stop watching, a 4 5 of hutch and Stroman would be very exciting to watch. However I don't think Stroman should spend a couple months in AAA to start the year
