The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Can I trade him for what's behind door #2?? http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3U4tiYtP9MQ/TdKEzwoOIuI/AAAAAAAAAXk/bl-MDYChMas/s1600/door-number-one-lets-make-a-deal.jpg First I'll revel what's behind door #3. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/3f/Monty_open_door.svg/220px-Monty_open_door.svg.png Would you still like to take home door #2?
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Can we please stop talking about that trade and pretend it never happened?

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Indeed. ... So'd you hear Synder struck out 5 in 1.2 IP? If only we would have drafted that guy...
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Still hoping there's a league average second baseman behind door number 2!
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Yes! Yes! Behind door #1, which you turned down, was a trip to Alaska accompanied by the beautiful Kate Upton. http://i.imgur.com/XaD7oIL.png
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Still hoping there's a league average second baseman behind door number 2! But you chose door #2. Which means you'll be going home with....
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 This guy! http://i.imgur.com/eVc0RiZ.png Congratulations and thanks for playing. PS: I heard he can play 2B better then Izturis. And it looks like he may be able to hit for some power.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 LOL Tha nks Cats Ass. Even though I'm thoroughly disgusted I had fun
GD Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 You are quoting me earlier in the thread where I said I think Drabek will be one of our teams two breakout pitchers and somehow using that as evidence against me in a later post where I am making a "well durh obviously nobody would BET MONEY on Drabek breaking out because there are only 4 or 5 guys in all of baseball safe enough to bet on a breakout season." Congratulations on being completely oblivious to being a dumbass and I look forward to watching you flail away further on this topic to try and convince people that I meant something other than what I typed for no apparent reason. No, you said Drabek WILL be one of the team's breakout pitchers, and I mean if you know something with such confidence then why not put money on it. Resorting to ad hominems is always the sign of a highly intelligent, remarkable human being, by the way.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I'm going to go on record and say that I'm officially on the Drabek bandwagon!
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I'm going to go on record and say that I'm officially on the Drabek bandwagon! Well I guess he's on the next flight to Japan then.

fireballW Verified Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 AdamRubinESPN Noah Syndergaard has struck out 5 thru 1.2 IP. Sitting at 96-97 mph. Jeurys Familia that velo too. The biggest mistake was trading Syndergaard. I really hope they didn't have the option between choosing whether to give Sanchez or Syndergaard. It was painfully obvious he was more valuable at the time with his superior control.

I *think* they did IIRC but I might be wrong.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Still believe in Drabek.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Drabek can take a hike to f*** off town.
KSaw Verified Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Drabek can take a hike to f*** off town. You want Drabek to go to Boston?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 You want Drabek to go to Boston? Yeah. Drabek for Henry Owens
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I refuse to give up on McGowan so giving up on drabek doesn't seem like an option to me.
