I know you're fooling around a bit, but while he may not be 17, Vinicius Junior was born on the same year as Davies and he was a big transfer for Real Madrid in the past year.

Probably yeah, though Umaro Embalo at Benfica, and Willem Geubbels at Monaco are already established for European teams.

 

Vinicius jr is now 18 but cost twice what Davies has gone for.

 

Ryan Sessegnon won player of the year in the Championship at 17 last season.

 

Phil Foden who just turned 18 a few months ago is another big hope for England, unfortunately he’s at Man City with limited playing time - hopefully he gets a loan move so that he can start playing more.

If we're also bringing up talented teenagers Matthijs de Ligt from Ajax is already one of the best players in the league and I'm sure all the top teams are dying for a chance to buy him. Gotta be the best teenage defender in the world by far.
