I think he'll be a great fit there. I really admire Texas' decision-making on the market. They've made huge commitments to Beltre, Darvish, and now Choo and I think all are great moves. I love that they're not afraid of big contracts for the right players.

And Fielder...

Their top 5 is going to be killer

What order would you put them in??

Good question, I think what they should do and what they will do are very, very different lol. Andrus and Rios aren't really THAT good.

less than the Yankees, ha ha but glad he's not in division. With that signing out of the way think we should start to see the rest of the FA pieces start to fall into place.

OT- Can unposted threads be saved as drafts?

I don't think so. If you use Chrome you can grab a nifty extension called Lazurus. It saves all things you wrote in a text field so you can pull it up again

Martin, Andrus, Choo, Beltre, Fielder, Rios, Moreland (?), Soto/Arencibia, Profar

That is one terrifying line up.

Great lineup

JP will get a taste of winning

I think this is also one more hint that the Jays don't have a legitimate chance of competing in 2014 and again makes the Dickey trade look even worse. I hate it, really, really hate it but realistically may as well get the most we can for Bautista, Reyes, Rasmus even Dickey and Buehrle if we can and try to become the RAYS in 3 or 4 years.

He'll be like Hinske...shuffled out of town after being a failed starter then win a few rings being a role player that barely plays on good teams. Like the opposite of karma. He'll probably have a game winning hit in one key game too then go on Twitter rants about how he's a clutch hero.

If he got a ring, he'd be on par with Posey.

Rangers seem loaded with the bats but so did the Angels and the Jays last year

The only difference is that the rangers have an amazing defense and good pitching. They do have Arencibia though that will definitely cost them a few games.

It appears he took less money and Boras dun goof'd.

He was supposed to sign for 7/140 with Yankees but Boras wanted 7/143.

Not really, because of the difference in state taxes he will probably net more pay at 130 mil in Texas than 143 mil in NY.

Yadi Molina, Buster Posey and JPA pretty much top 3 in that case??
