Change in Yanks plans:

Bryan HochVerified account ‏@BryanHoch

Chris Capuano will start for the Yankees tomorrow. Greene starts on Sunday, Whitley back to the bullpen.

So the change means:

Buehrle (4.51 SIERA) vs. Kuroda (3.91 SIERA)

Hutchison (3.94 SIERA) vs. Capuano (3.91 SIERA but in relief)

JA Happ (4.30 SIERA) vs. Greene (3.14 SIERA in 19.1 IP)

Still question why Capuano was picked up by the Yanks.. as a flyball pitcher, he risks being lit up hard at Yankee Stadium.

i wouldn't mind that

Yasiel Puig - 3 triples and a double in last night's game. Yowzers!

Can you imagine anyone in our lineup even coming close to doing something like this in one night. Must be nice.......

My theory is Reyes gets his healthyness and speed from dreadlocks, and not having them has made him the Jose Reyes of today.

LOL. I thought the same thing when I found that article. Bring back the dreadlocks!!

You don't like the soul patch on the back of his head?

Everytime I see it I want to shave it off. Frankly a soul patch on the face by itself brings about the same feeling.

So, apparently the Cubbies demoted Neil Ramirez (their best reliever) because they want to manage his workload, at least so says the Yahoo note? (he's at 35 innings between AAA and MLB). Anyone else think they just might have their eyes on that #1 draft pick next year?

BlueJays scouting Rockies Outfielder Brandon Barnes.

28 year old who strikes out at a 30% clip, with no power, in a huge hitters park. MUST SEND PRO SCOUTS!

why not. starting next year their going to have to bring up their prospects. They'll start winning, why not go for one last high pick.

Wouldn't be shocked. Justin Hooper, Mike Mantuella and Mike Nikorak are all disgusting.

Is there a clear #1 pick next year worth tanking for? Too early to tell I suppose.

There are like 4 guys that could be #1 in any given year imo

Mike Matuella, Justin Hooper, Daz Cameron

Nikorak will go pretty high too won't he? 97 with decent mechanics

But as usual, it's not like the NBA where the #1 guy sometimes is an obvious franchise changer and 2-5 are like 2-3 rungs lower.

Well there are guys like that sometimes in the MLB. But it's a lot like this year's NBA Draft. Probably not a legit franchise changer but a lot of guys at the top that could be huge contributors.

MLB.TV got even more awesome recently. Now, during commercial breaks they play old clips from famous plays. Just watched a a replay of Carlos Delgado's 4 HR game.

I watched a free game yesterday but didn't see that. Do you have to be a full member?
