G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Where on Fangraphs can I find the odds to make the playoffs at? Easy to make
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 The big shocker with Cleveland is their attendance this year. It is abysmal. 14,000 people is just....I don't have words for a number that low. Yeah that's bad for the whole league
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Where on Fangraphs can I find the odds to make the playoffs at? Joking aside is it BP that most people quote? They have Jays at 33% chance of making the playoffs. Seems reasonable. http://www.baseballprospectus.com/odds/
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Nick Cafardo @nickcafardo Stephen Drew has passed physical. Has consented to be optioned to minors for 25 AB. Must pass through optional waivers which takes 48 hrs Zero chance he clears optional waivers. Someone like the Yankees will likely claim him, forcing Boston to keep him on the roster.
Spoonovic Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I can dig it, medium-long shots or don't bother. Exactly. I think all those plays have value. Jays The AL East is wide open so far. Jays likely have the best line up in baseball. Just need to get good pitching. Their odds have already improved to 20-1 or 18-1 depending where you go. Rockies They are playing good baseball this year. A lot of it will depend on the health of Tulo and Cargo. But they are likely to call up two good young pitchers in the second half in Butler and Gray. Indians Off to a slow start. But Santana should improve, Kipnis will help a lot. A trio of Kluber, Masterson and Bauer is good. Hopefully Salazer figures himself out in Triple A. The call up of Lindor will add more to their offense. I could see them getting a wildcard due to Texas’ injury problems and the AL East beating each other up.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Shark is absolutely shutting the Yankees down. Bring him to Toronto for the Sanchize.

reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I am ready to give up Sanchez and additional smaller pieces for Shark. I wonder what the asking price will be... Sanchez + Stroman? 2 top 100 (but not top 20) prospects might get it done, I have no idea.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 This is also assuming they like those pitchers, they might be pretty low on them.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Jeff Keppinger has been released by the White Sox.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Does anyone want to win the Tigers/Indians game? Bottom of 12 and still tied at 9.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Castro error and Yanks tied the game top-9. Shark no decision again.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Coke just hit Asdrubal Cabrera with a pitch.. and he's having trouble getting up.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Indians tie it up again lol. This is crazy. Cleveland will run out of pitchers soon if they don't win already.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Yanks and Cubs are going to extras.. let's play more! And let's hope one of the Tigers/Indians or Yankees/Cubs games ends before the Jays game.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Well, they ran out of position players after Gomes PH. Now Raburn's gotta win it for the Indians..
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 A balk-off balk for by Albequerque hands the Indians a win. How weird is that?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Seagulls are really hitting Wrigley Field right now.. and the YES people just referenced Exhibition Stadium, which commonly had seagull issues.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 maybe Jeter will get pooped on
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 omg Bonafacio has other players on the cubs doing the stupid "did you see that" sign.
flafson Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Can't believe the Yankees are going to win this one, just horrible.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 It's the Orioles game we're more concerned about. A Jays win and a O's loss and we're tied for 1st.
S33n Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Melancon being filthy, 1 strike away from being in first... (i know im too excited)
