wilko Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Justin Smoak early MVP candidate. Batting in front of Cano can't hurt.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Pujols is a shell of his former self. There is no way he is actually 34 years old. He's definitely closing in on 40. He's aging terribly.

Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Is it just me or is anyone else hoping that Huston wins this first series lol. Nice to see C.C get roughed up lol
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Is it just me or is anyone else hoping that Huston wins this first series lol. Nice to see C.C get roughed up lol I assume since the 11th greatest leader got a hit they'll win the world series. How ridiculous is it that they named Jeter the 11th greatest leader in the world. As Bts likes to say, that's egregious

Nice to see C.C get roughed up lol I'd love to see Astros pound them, and then us exploit their weaker starters and infield defense (I do think Tanaka might carve us up though...)
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Will move to around baseball if it's minor (which hopefully it is hahaha)
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 They said enough is enough with this s*** ballpark and are finally moving
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Ken_Rosenthal now Sources: #Rays agree to six-year extension with RHP Chris Archer in range of $25M. Deal begins this season and includes two club options.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 LOL @ Rosenthal stealing all the thunder
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Wow that might be another steal for the rays. Andrew f***ing Friedman
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal 2m Archer deal with #Rays will cover 2014 to ’19. Options are for 2020 and ’21. Technically it is a new contract, not an extension
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 What a steal, especially when the Rays end up having to trade him away about 1-2 years from free agency, especially if the attendance doesn't improve.

Your schtick hasn't changed for 3 years now. I appreciated the stick-to-it'iveness despite it's idiocy I wanted to throw a DANGER ZONE line in here for Archer but again this is a low risk, high reward signing.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Move this thread to Around Baseball as it isn't Bluejays related. Thanks
