And no, it's a joke between me and Hurl because we have an entertaining yet delusional mutual acquaintance (me from High School) who self-proclaimed himself the Leaside Legend and makes remarkably egregious statements all the time and treats social media as his personal diary and it's all around just an entertaining yet uncomfortable time knowing him. It's hard to fully explain him, unless you know him you will never get it.

You're god damn right I do. I know a few great Leasiders (which I guess I shall group you in with) but there are some.. interesting ones. :3

I did my undergrad elsewhere, and only started at Queen's this term.

The entire language might as well be spelled phonetically, nothing is pronounced as it's spelled. Gay-Lick is really the perfect name for it

Correct. Gaelic is not a language you'd want to learn on your own. I've got my standard St. Paddy's Day toasts learned and that's enough for me.

There's a St. Patrick's Day episode of Boardwalk Empire, it wasn't until seeing that I realized I'd been listening to people butcher the language for years.

Sorry for the bump, but I thought I'd offer to do this properly tonight, with the permission of our gracious and just overlords. This just wasn't proper (no offense connorp, your dumn) and there weren't enough categories. I'd like to do a top 3 kind of thing, so more people are included and fewer people are overlooked. I also thought it would be cool if Juiced slipped award winners a title under their usernames for the year, kinda like how I have beenz for some reason. I guess I could use several Google docs to post up the rankings and total points.

 

I know people already kinda voted but I would be disregarding this thread entirely and I don't think people will mind another chance to fellate their heroes/get fellated by their fanboys. Plus it gives me a chance to really stack up my thank count and ratio.

 

If people don't mind me taking this on, please suggest some categories.

Someone should organize a get together for the board. We could all go to a game next together or something (circle jerk after game optional).

 

A lot of this is contingent on Angrioter getting a travel visa out of his beloved communist homeland though.
