Batter's Box Top 30 Prospects

For those unfamiliar with Batter's Box it's one of the oldest Jays blogs around from back in the day, but has kind of gotten lost in the shuffle as more and more sites have emerged. On a lark I went to check out the site again and found that they had put up their annual top 30 prospects list + "Ones to Watch." I'm just in the process of reading it myself, so I can't comment on if the list is good or not yet. Just thought I'd share.

Can't lie, I was pretty disappointed in that read. I always remembered it being better. Then again, I was a teenager at the time, and things are never as good as we remember them when we were young.

 

(EDIT) I just noticed that Deck is listed as the 29th prospect and in the "Ones to Watch". lol

Too much basic stats analysis (BA and OBP) and not enough actual reports on the players, me thinks

They said Deck McGuire was drafted in 2011

 

They also said Shane dawson was drafted out of Drayton Valley High school, when he was drafted out of Lethbridge Community College. Some pretty basic factual errors.
