Lind is better than JP. You are the one who wants to trade the better player here.

There has been a s*** ton. This one has been the worst probably.

 

Especially considering we don't advertise this one on the other board. I actually think it's cool when genuine new people join. I miss that from the old board. Gsnarles or someone should just constantly keep a thread up on the old one about a new board with better discussion.

I know JPA gets alot of hate understandably so he did not have a great year behind the plate. Clearly he not more than an back up catcher. Personally i think he would be a better option at DH. We don't need to run this player out of town he is still young. And yes i know we have Lind at DH but look at Lind he finally stepped up last year and proved that one year was not a fluke. His trade value has to be higher than JPA. And plus JPA is still young and has a power bat still. We traded Travis last year thinking JPA was are guy did not work out at C but lets give him a chance at another position (DH, back up catcher). He is still talented.

 

There's actually nothing here worth discussing. You took the guy who's had one of the worst offensive seasons in the history of the entire sport and think a change to DH, where the bat is far more important than it is at catcher, is somehow going to matter.

 

Sorry. Delete and start over.

You do realize you're the one suggesting trading a decent bat in this thread right? Nice hypocrisy. Also, JUST in case you're not a troll and just an unintelligent baseball fan, I will attempt to spell this out for you...You're right, Lind likely peaked last year and will regress a bit. But please understand, a regressed Lind is MILES better than JPA. In a sport that's recorded stats since the 1800's, your Blue Jays Catcher last year posted one of the WORST batting seasons in HISTORY. So, you're suggestion is to take a catcher who is the worst HITTER in baseball, and put him at a position where his only contribution to the team would be to HIT. Absurd...

 

Annnnd I just gave up a portion of my day to an obvious troll...

You're f***ing dumb. JPA should be nowhere near this team next season, and especially not in the DH role. He's a problem to this team on and off the field, the only thing he provides for this team is bringing women to the ballpark. He's not even "young" either, he will be 28 next season.
