Probably enough that he sues them. On a related note we are doing PED's in sport sociology right now and it's amazing how many went from being somewhat okay with them (just me at the start of the program) to now when we have all the facts and look at it in a different way (about 50% of the class with mainly just the baseball fans holding out). We actually watched Bigger, Stronger, Faster last class...I love that documentary.

Can't see more than 100 games . He has tested positive once in MLB,s sample tests that were not to go public . He has also been linked to his so called Cousin who was banned from clubhouses and the Canadian doctor convicted of smuggling HGH across the border. Lots of smoke but the Bosch testimony is the only thing that counts.

Not sure about other PED,s but HGH should be legal . Just allows bodies to heal , fountain of youth and no sure test so why this is illegal makes no sense .

When your paying a guy 20 mil and you can keep him on the field more why not .

The main point we deal with in class is that Science is a huge part of sports and the main reason that sports keeps getting bigger, faster and stronger. So how are PED's any different than equipment developments? The side effects of some banned substances are less than the listed side effects of Vitamin C tablets. All really comes down to how people view drugs in a negative way in general.

 

Really only baseball cares about the sanctity of the old records...Usain Bolt is running a full second faster than Jesse Owens and fans just want to see him go even faster.

IMHO, I think he gets a long (100+ games) suspension and to circumnavigate the "only one positive test, before it was banned argument", Selig will account for most of the suspension as punishment for the attempted cover-up.

I was reading something on mlb.ciom and pretty sure Selig said that arod tested postive in 2006 but it was never released. I could be wrong it was a couple weeks ago i read it.

went and read it again and they are saying he failed in 2006. I highly doubt mlb does not have solid evidence on all 13 players they suspended. Not one protested except Arod and my guess is its due to the ridiculous 211 games their throwing at him.
