I've never seen Bryce Harper's home run from 3 years ago - supposedly the longest one ever hit at Tropicana field. I wonder if that's available in the mILB archives somewhere.

Yeah I just searched. I guess it was from a home run derby of some kind when he was 16. I had thought it was from a futures game or something. Hit it over 500 feet. Only crappy videos on YouTube that do a poor job of showing it. But obviously cause it wasn't a pro TV crew or anything.

 

But dayum, is there anyone with more raw/natural power than that guy? 16 years old hitting balls 500 feet. That's sick.
