JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 typical blow jays winning when it means nothing and f***ing up their draft position. They can't do anything right...
Caper Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I would like to see the odds of Ryan Goins and kevin Pillar ever hitting singers in the same inning again.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 hit Lawrie in the mouth again please my post count is leet
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Confusing but I think Ricky can refuse a minor league assignment and become a FA any time, but why would he? No other team is going to pay him 7.5MM. Definitely he can become a Free Agent if he is sent down . The question is if we take him off the 40 man and send him to AAA and he declares free agentcy do we have to pay him . I believe Yes . If we keep him on the 40 man but option him down and he declares free agency then I think we don't have to pay him . Is that right ?

Even with a good draft position AA doesn't know how to draft a decent player so just enjoy beating Tampa today.
RickyWalks Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Even if they draft a decent player by chance, the team still can't develop young players.

I know. But I want players who want to play hard and win no matter what the situation. Do I want a top 10 protected pick? Yes. But that's not what Inwant the players thinking about on the field. And of course they don't.

He's probably spent 1000 hours thinking about it.
DH12 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 why couldn't we beat tampa all year but are now on the verge of a sweep?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I don't see Romero staying on the 40. I doubt Romero would give up his salary if he stayed on either so AAA Buffalo is very likely. I wouldn't give up $15,000,000 for the sake of some pride and a tiny chance of getting lucky on a new club, would you??
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 why couldn't we beat tampa all year but are now on the verge of a sweep? That's so Blue Jays?
DH12 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 When the Jays really need to win games they roll over and play dead but when it comes to spoiling other teams playoff chances look out they are tough lol.
DH12 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Instead of wasting money on Reyes Jays could have just kept gold glove candidate Escobar

Now that I think about it - There's no way a loophole would exist where a player could refuse a MILB assignment, keep the money from his old club AND sign with a new one. Obviously that can't be possible.
DH12 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Oh boy the AA end of season press conference tomorrow. Don't want to miss that
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Gose is so f***ing fast If only he could steal first
DH12 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Rays always get into the playoffs in a dramatic fashion they will win tomorrow when they really have to.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 I don't know, Redmond has been our best starter of late... Which means we suck, not that he's good.
