Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 Pete C out. I liked the guy but seemed they couldn’t get over the hump for one reason or another many years Saban out at Bama didn’t see coming. What a run. And no Tom Brady How is no one talking about Billy B and Vrabel getting canned? Bellichick we kinda saw coming, but VRABEL? Are the Titans NUTS? Vrabel is going to NE isn't he? God dammit. Also, hats off to Mike Tomlin. Steelers fans, I've learned, are delusional morons and were talking about firing this guy after Arizona and NE. He's had absolute garbage rosters since the last year of Big Ben and never had a losing season in like what, almost 2 decades? Look at the absolute stinking piles of s*** he's had to work with, roster wise. He didn't have a losing record with Mason Rudolph and Duck Hodges QBing most of the year, he didn't have one this year with Pickett (kinda sucks), Trubisky (really sucks) and Rudolph (sucks), and is going into the playoffs with a negative PD and his third string QB. How do they win? They don't beat themselves. They are the bizarro Bills. Every Bills loss this year outside maybe Cincinnati has been because the Bills beat themselves, bad turnovers, bad penalties, bad coaching. Steelers have a s***** roster but they are at the top of the league (in good ways) in penalties, turnovers surrendered (despite s***** QBs!!!) and defensive turnovers. I expect the Bills to beat the absolute s*** out of Pittsburgh but do not throw the ball to Gabe Davis please. My SWC Weekend picks that no one cares about: GB over DAL PHI over TB (this one is tough, lol @ the Eagles) DET over LAR (game of the week) BUF over PIT KC over MIA (lol Dolphins, suck it you frauds) CLE over HOU (wouldn't be surprised if Stroud found some magic) Even though Chicago got a great haul for their #1 pick, and ended up getting another one, gotta think they probably regret not keeping it and taking Stroud. Also lol @ the Panthers who do absolutely nothing right.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 Mayo already brought in to replace Bill Belichick Yeah, and I feel Vrabel goes to the Chargers I think, Tennessee made a big mistake there, Boxy is right, stupid firing.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 My picks for this weekend: - Browns over Texans - Chiefs over Dolphins - Bills over Steelers - Cowboys over Packers - Rams over Lions - Eagles over Bucs I think both the Browns/Texans and Rams/Lions are a coin flip. Browns have the best defense and an experienced QB in Flacco, though Stroud and the Texans are at home and an exciting team. Rams have played great football as of late and are playing in a weather controlled environment which helps. Lions can be tough at home though. Should be a fun game regardless. Taking the odds on the Rams though. If I had to pick some upsets, could see the Packers upsetting the Cowboys, since Dallas always chokes in the Playoffs and the Bucs upsetting the Eagles, since they're playing at home and the Eagles have looked awful. As much as I hate Kansas City, I think they beat the Dolphins easily. Can't see Miami going into the cold weather in KC and the Dolphins have played very poorly against teams with a winning record. Bills should crush the Steelers. Only way they lose is if they beat themselves.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 13, 2024 Posted January 13, 2024 (edited) Rookie's having a game. Packer's WILL upset the Cowboy's, jaysblue See ya Cleveland me thinks... Texans T-bagged the Browns, lol. Edited January 14, 2024 by Spanky99

Texans T-bagged the Browns, lol. I dunno Spank, I am shocked that old man Flacco, after sitting on his couch most of the season, ended up s***ing his pants at the worst time. Anyone who picked Miami to win yesterday is beyond hope. If you haven't learned by now, you never will.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 Prescott definitely the new Romo. Never was a fan of either
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 Haha. Loser. May as well watch the Packers. Good luck rooting through the ups and down of Daniel Jones for the next 5 years..whoops, I mean Jordan Love Packers are basically going to have to give Love a mega contract soon and get stuck with an average QB. Guess they’ll have to make it up other areas lol... spike dat ball, ya bald f***ing midget.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 lol... spike dat ball, ya bald f***ing midget. Bitch.. it’s a WC game against a known choker lol
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 Bitch.. it’s a WC game against a known choker lol This is a f***ing weak take man - even for you. It was Dallas at home. Take the L. Packers put on a f***ing clinic. Love looks like he's the real deal. Doubtful it continues, but this season has been a massive W for the Pack. Enjoy the night Spanky!

Ditto enjoy, Cowboys had won 16 straight home games, and Love and Jones just picked them apart in their house, perfect passer rating almost had a perfect total QBR. Packers are the youngest team to make the PS since 1978 and poised to make noise, hell they've already done it, and Love is a rookie, lol. And this clown still chirps, what a loser.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 (edited) Hahaha... check out Lafleur's presser he laid a haymaker @ Rodgers. Rekt. 11:15 at the end. https://www.packers.com/video/matt-lafleur-on-jordan-love-just-so-proud-happy-for-him Edited January 15, 2024 by Spanky99

Aren't the Packers also the first 7 seed to ever advance?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 Aren't the Packers also the first 7 seed to ever advance? Yes sir. Thanks, missed that. Baldilocks can chew on that to.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 That was a good Lions/Rams game, kind of glad the Lions win after seeing grown men crying in the stands, 31 years of misery for them, lol.

Definitely a great game! Could have went either way. Really think the refs missed that pass interference/holding call at the end there, which would have given the Rams a 1st down and put them in better FG territory. Clearly his jersey was grabbed. The NFL wanted Detroit to go through. Rams defense couldn't make the stops they needed. As well, shocked they never used their timeout at a 2:30 minute mark when it was 2nd and 9.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 Cowboys could really use Bill Belichick. Cowboys are chokers when it comes to the Playoffs. Was right on the possible upset, wish I just had my bets that way as well lol. Love and the Packers though put on a clinic and played awesome. Would have been tough to beat. Wonder if they can give the 49ers a tough time, but I think San Fran at home dominates them.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 Yes sir. Thanks, missed that. Baldilocks can chew on that to. There’s been a 7 seed for like what, 2 years? lol. Anyways, you’re the one that turned me trolling on Dak (which every sports talk show in America will be doing today) into something else

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 Lol you dink, Love should probably have been a pro bowl selection this year Coming to the aid of the Packer fans, eh? Is there some sort of inherent mutual respect between Canadians and GB? Maybe it’s the frozen tundra that kind of brings everyone together?
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 I never said a thing about Dak, you invalid. Hey Dumbass, why don’t you go back and read everything again.
