This is true - I thought they made a huge mistake taking Chase over Sewell, but it appears they were 100% correct in that call. I think they shore up the OL this offseason, add to the D and are a force for the next 5+ years myself.

Exactly.

And the Aaron Rodgers saga is over (for now). 4 years $200M with $153M guaranteed. Adams will be next and then GB will have to cut a ton of talent to get under the cap.

I guess they had to hedge their bets a bit, but I sure wish we didn't draft Jordan Love now. Probably can't get more than a 4th or 5th round pick for him (if that).

For a guy that barks at management, he sure knows how to cripple a franchise.

That Wilson trade today blows me away, too. Wow!

Is Seattle now the 2021 version of Denver? Great all around team that just needs a QB? If so, that's kind of ironic.

I'm not sure GB would have gotten the same package for Rodgers, but I can't help but wonder if they could have, should they have taken a package like that.

The Bills need a backup QB and I wouldn't take Love for free tbh. Rather have Fitzy or Andy Dalton or something. Love is f***ing terrible.

Congrats to Aaron Rodgers for crippling the Packers where he will then go on to whine about how the team doesn't have enough weapons while taking up like 15% of GBs cap space...which will bite them in the ass down the road.

No, their defense still sucks balls and the only things good about their offense are Rashad Penny (UFA), Tyler Lockett (who they are trying to trade) and poor DK Metcalf who is getting absolutely boned. Their biggest contract is Blitz Adams...yikes. He'll also be demanding a trade, completely unaware that he's pretty s*** and essentially untradable.

PS no offense but paying Rodgers 50mil per year at age 38 is going to end in disaster. I hope you are prepared.

Football Team get Spanky’s boy Wentz. Kinda like the Alex Smith arrangement. Pretty harsh dump by the Colts. Edited by connorp

Oh man, this is hilarious. How are the Redskins this badly run?

Spanky's boy, Wentz? Why are you so infatuated with me, 3 Foot?

Just have a good memory, mate. Just like Boxy’s boy just signed a minor league deal with the Jays

Geez.. if I’m going to be censored, at least do it accurately. Also consistently, as Boxy dropped the “R bomb” after

I am am not a big fan of her non-football posts because she tends to meander into the political, but man, Mina Kimes is one of the best follows for NFL personalities.

Put some Baileys in the coffee and join the world today

Because I tell you Wentz had one bad year since his rookie year, that makes him my boy? He's better than most of you think. Stunned f***ing midget.

I mean Indy dumping him for non premium picks when they have no QB says a lot

QBR rating is more telling, maybe the Colts are Dolts.

It will be fascinating to see how this all plays out - as I asked myself the same thing connorp did. If Wentz is a legit starter, why would Indy let him go with no replacement in place in a year where there are no good FA's and it's a weak QB draft...We'll soon find out who knows what they are doing and who's a fraud.

Didn't they make Frank Reich apologize to Jim Irsay?

Wentz is better than the circle jerk narrative would lead you to believe, but he's never been the same guy that he was in the year he got hurt and the Eagles went to the Super Bowl.

Also he's a bandaid, allegedly kind of a loner weirdo in the locker room, anti-vax, and has a tendency for some gloriously bad turnovers at bad times.

By all accounts the Colts are smart as a franchise. I trust them, but I don't mind the buy for the WFT also. Depends on where Indy ends up at QB, I guess. Jordan Love? Jameis? Fitzpatrick?

I've read those guys mentioned, along with Mariota, Trubisky, Bridgewater and trade for JimmyG or Carr... we'll see.

Fans care way more about the "anti-vax" stuff than the players do. Even then, the fans tend to forget as soon as the player is on the field. I went to the Bills/Panthers game and it was definitely "BEEEAASSEE" every time he got the ball, not boos even though the media tried to make Beasley think otherwise for some reason. A lot of players also agreed with guys like Wentz/Beasley but are scared for their own job security. It's a moot point now, anyway.

The question is, he's a bandaid to what, exactly? Kenny Pickett? Malik Willis? Matt Corral? If so, why were they pushing so hard for Wilson? Is he even really an upgrade on Heinicke? If I'm a COMMANDERZ fan, I'd much rather have the picks they gave up and have Heinicke start. s***** move by a s***** org that will get them nowhere. Good on the Colts for moving on so quickly, despite Wentz being Reich's guy. Topping it all off, Wentz has a pretty bad contract. It was a bad move by the Football Team.

I don't know if they made him apologize, don't care either.

I just thought the whole idea of a coach having to apologize to the owner for recommending a player to be pretty hilarious.

There are a lot of guys who could be Wentz-y type starters in FA. I'd rather have Trubisky than Wentz and he'd have just cost money, and a lot less of it. Jimmy G might cost the same as what they got for Wentz but probably better and used to working in a similar offense in SF where there's a heavy reliance on the run and short-intermediate passes. I'd be surprised if Bridgewater got a starting job and Fitz is coming home to back up Josh Allen

Watson’s price went back up. Probably could’ve gotten a discount if a team rolled the dice. There’s a lot of teams he could go to that would win now

If I was a Was (insert name) fan still, I’d see the CW move as similar to Alex Smith. 2nd tier QB you hope manages games well enough and doesn’t lose them. They’ll need a strong D

Brady is back!

Of course he is.

Lol, did you see that some guy just bought his "last" touchdown ball for 517k? What an idiot. There was always a 50% chance Brady was returning.

What sucks is that probably closes the door on Gronk to Buffalo since he lives swinging from Brady's nutsack.

I actually did just see that touchdown ball thing lol. Funny stuff.

I wonder if the buyer is so rich that they don’t gaf.. or if it was someone that layed out for it, relatively speaking, and was looking at it as an investment. Hopefully not the latter lol
