TRM Verified Member Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Think it's going to be a repeat of SB 48, even with how elite Denver's D is. Panthers 42 Broncos 15 I doubt this almost as much as I doubt you watched SB 48.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I doubt this almost as much as I doubt you watched SB 48. Swear to god I did. Watched every SB since I was 10. Whether you believe me or not, IDC
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Guess I'm not allowed to like my favourite player's team...according to TRM.

Zaun of the Dead Verified Member Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Panthers 27 Broncos 17 would be my prediction
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Panthers won't break 25 due to the fact that i think Broncos D is the best they are going to see all year. The question i don't know is what kind of offense we are going to see from Manning. I really hope he wins and retires just due to the fact he is one of my favorites even though i did not like the colts or the broncs. The guy is just so damn likable lol
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I'm a Panthers fan and a Manning fan. I'm cheering for the Panthers, but won't be heartbroken if Manning wins and retires. I think the Panthers are going to win as I have a lot more confidence that their offense can generate something than Denver's. Bronco's D is the class of the league but the Panthers is great as well.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 As a Colts fan I'm one of Mannings biggest supporters but I see this as a really tough matchup for him much like the SB with Seattle. For as good as the Broncos have been Mannings has been pretty bad this year. I hope he wins just so he can retire on top but he's going to be in tough. Cam Newton vs the Broncos D will be very interesting to watch.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 It's going to be a very good game IMO. The Broncos ability to swarm the QB has been driving that team while the Panthers O line has given Cam tons of time to just sit there and hit open receivers.

I doubt Carolina will put up 43 on them like SB48 unless Manning turns the ball over like he did in the reg. season.

This is how I feel, 21-10 Panthers.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Changing my prediction to... Panthers 35 Broncos 17
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 First Barry Sanders, now Megatron...sigh
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I would 100% retire early if I made good money in the NFL. With other sports I'd probably make the money I could for as long as I could. You have plenty of time for retirement even after a long career. But the NFL is just too bloody dangerous and can cut into that retirement on the back end.

Seriously, the guy went to Vegas in a disguise...bwahahahaha He seems to be a massively f***ed up. His issues run deep. We will be reading about him in a few years like we are reading about the other QB drated along aide Peyton.

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Ryan Leaf. I get that same feeling. Saw this this am and thought it probably reflected the discussion between the front office and Manziel

nextyear Verified Member Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Today is the big day. I have been looking forward to the Super Bowl for the past 2 weeks. I am hoping that Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos can pull off the upset and beat the bigger than life Cam Newton and his Carolina Panthers.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I am also pulling for the Broncos. I was going to go to a friend's to watch this tonight but I think I'm probably just going to stay in and watch it in my pajamas.
Frag Verified Member Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I'm expecting a defense-heavy matchup, which means the game will end 32-30 somehow.

Denver's pass-rush defense may give Newton fits like it did to Brady. Still, Carolina's defense won't be too kind to Manning, either.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Carolina -5.0 Denvers +5.0 I'll bet 200 dollars to the Carolina, bad idea?
nextyear Verified Member Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Carolina -5.0 Denvers +5.0 I'll bet 200 dollars to the Carolina, bad idea? Only if $200 is like loose change to you, but then it would be best to give it to a good charity.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Only if $200 is like loose change to you, but then it would be best to give it to a good charity. It's something symbolic, just to put more emotion seeing the game.
