He was roughly in a three way tie with Jordy Nelson and Odell for 2nd overall behind Antonio Brown, just a bit ahead of Demariyus, by PFF

Odell didn't play as many snaps so over a full season it's really Odell, Brown, Dez, Nelson, Demariyus

Demariyus is mostly due to the offense he is in, pretty overrated among WRs. I have him around 8th or 9th going forward. (I recognize you were talking about last year only)

They didn't have Megatron as a top 5 WR?

Apparently not. As I said, you don't really know what the asking prices are. 5/70 is very reasonable for a player with his impact, but I think Denver messed up paying Demariyus the same amount. Dez is noticeably better

Well I was going off the reports yesterday saying he wanted the CJ contract. 5/70, 45 guaranteed is probably fine.

Didn't he have a bit of an off year last year?

This is only for last year that I was referencing, btw.

What would they get in a trade? No idea how NFL trades work.

What are his stats without Tebow?

My list would be:

Megatron

Dez Bryant

Julio Jones

Antonio Brown

AJ Green

ODB is right there for 5th. I just want to see what he does this year.

Oh okay for last year that makes sense

That's my list too. I have Jordy right there with ODB as well

I found this earlier but Im not sure how legit it is. Havent read it in too much detail yet

http://intentionalrounding.com/when-does-passer-rating-stabilize/

Yup exactly what I meant.

Given the split-half correlation of 0.52, PR stabilizes at 235 attempts for this group. And given their 78.4 average PR, a QB with a 95.0 PR after 250 attempts would have a “true” PR of 87.0.

So that sample is about 45% of a useful sample. 65% luck. Just something mildly encouraging to not make me want to kill myself before the first game of the year, then!

Passer rating is more of a team stat.

i hate football analytics SO MUCH

His best target that year was Stevie Johnson, though. So there's that.

EJ Manuel is the classic QB drafted high because he looked tall and strong. Can't throw accurately or read the field at all.

This is true. I'm just looking for reasons not to kill myself before week 6.

Maybe not the best idea for a football player playing in Texas?

I will be interesting to see the reactions. People tend to soften their judgements on a lot of things when it involves their team's star player. Conversely, I'm sure a lot of deeply religious fans of other teams will be more than happy to call him a heathen.

So apparently Geno got clocked by a teammate in the dressing room and is now out 6-10 weeks with a broken jaw. I just love it when teammates #cometogether
