GDT(1/3): Boston Red Sox @ Toronto Blue Jays - Dempster vs. Redmond - 7:07 PM ET

No wonder the Red Sox are sticking to Breslow and Tazawa longer than usual--most of their options are either awful(Morales) or unproven(Britton, De La Rosa, Workman)--and now they're going to Uehara in a non-save situation on the road--considering Boston lost 3/4 to the Royals, they must be REALLY desperate to win.

And that's not the reason of the baseball game? ----Winning games is all that matters.

Change first home run contest to first RBI so that every player has an equal chance to win

I'd go 3rd/4th batter every night. Also, nothing exciting about a sac fly lol

It would make sac flies exciting

It should be fair if I remove the extra points for how many runs the home run was worth, that way the main guys would only ever be worth 1 point.. unless a grand slam, walk off or multi game night. Would only get you 30-45 points all season.

Kalfus = Pillar-lite!!!

It's a decent comparison tbh but Kalfus has a much better arm

Rays lose. Good news for the Indians(leading 5-2), Royals(tied at 0) and O's(2-0 in the 4th).

I know there's nothing wrong with this post, but for the love of god, shut the f*** up

I like how this one is still in use!

Kalfus has everything but the power.

Which is fine, there have been plenty of HOF outfielders who didn't have power. Look no further than Tony Gwynn.

He actually does. Good hit tool, he can run a bit, good glove, great arm, solid all around player.

JPA is gonna get 20+ homerz and 60+ RBIZ though

he's our franchise catcher lay off him

I laughed

may or may not be me

They lost me around 2000/2001 when most of the peripheral characters disappeared, Homer stopped having a job seemingly, and every episode centered around that ep's celebrity guest with a flimsy plot centered around said celebrity guest.

Homer's still working at the power plant--but they just haven't mentioned it as much in recent years. And yes, the show hasn't been good since the early 2000s.
