Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Makes me wonder if there is a way to look up largest run differential in MLB history? Seattle had 300+ that season (amazing). 1939 Yankees - 411+ runs http://cybermetric.blogspot.ca/2010/05/1939-yankees-not-1927-yankees-had.html
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Man...Felix up to almost 100 pitches in the 5th, Jays really making him work tonight
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Lind hasn't had an XBH in 11+ games now
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Rasmus and lawrie putting everything together for the rest of the season would be huge!
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Time to get Felix out of there, he's done.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Lawrie and rasmus are good again!!!! http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/happy-dance-.gif
Save Dtieb Verified Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 I wonder what the Vegas odds were for tonight. Felix versus Johnson.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Time to move Lawrie to the 2 hole while he's hot? That's one of the many things Joe Maddon does really well, he puts his hot hitters together at the top of the lineup regularly
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Felix' avg FB has dropped 1 MPH in each of the last 4 seasons
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 I wonder what the Vegas odds were for tonight. Felix versus Johnson. Would have been one hell of a pitching matchup 3 years ago.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 I wonder what the Vegas odds were for tonight. Felix versus Johnson. i got 2.45 on party bets.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 That's it, I'll tempt the baseball gods... Not even Josh Johnson can cough up this lead!
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Time to move Lawrie to the 2 hole while he's hot? That's one of the many things Joe Maddon does really well, he puts his hot hitters together at the top of the lineup regularly Gibbons has done an okay job of this, though sometimes he seems to leave slumping hitters high in the order too long.... like JPA in May/June
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Gibbons has done an okay job of this, though sometimes he seems to leave slumping hitters high in the order too long.... like JPA in May/June To be fair, JPA batting anywhere other than 9th is too high...
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 To be fair, JPA batting anywhere other than 9th is too high... True but not many were complaining about him batting 5th after he was OPSing over .800 with 8 HR in April
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 To be fair, JPA batting anywhere other than 9th is too high... 9th is too high. He should be batting bench
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 It may be a big park, crappy offense.. but JJ is still pitching very well!
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 JJ out pitches the king! http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/oh-snap.gif Take that turkey leg eating boygirl
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Make this prediction more often The Jays only need to go about 42-8 the rest of the way, and they should get into the playoffs. Nbd.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 The Jays only need to go about 42-8 the rest of the way, and they should get into the playoffs. Nbd. We got this.
Save Dtieb Verified Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Would have been one hell of a pitching matchup 3 years ago. Looked it up. Toronto +170 Seattle -180 Seattle overwhelming favourites. Only Pittsburgh over Miami, and Kansas City over Minnesota had higher odds. Or lower odds whatever way you look at it.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Does anyone have a GIF of Reyes raging yesterday? That was highly GIFable.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Those fans are rockin' tonight for those dead last Jays!
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 I will look Couldn't find, damn that would have been a good gif OH well, no bigy
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Those fans are rockin' tonight for those dead last Jays! Entirely possible that the Yankees will take over the cellar before too long.
