Like what? I've never accepted donations before, and only did it as it was suggested by a few people.

Like I said, I don't want people to feel obligated, if they want to help out, go ahead.

The mods and I have been talking, and Gsnarls really like the idea of when you add someone to ignore, you don't see their posts anymore, or even the "You have this person on ignore".

I said to have something like that custom done will be about $100, probably less. Gsnarls said he would pay for it (bless his soul), but I said there's no need for him to cover the cost.

So I set up a donation page. The donations isn't mandatory, it's simply for anyone that wants to help the site out, and contribute for improvements. I will not take any of the money from

donations. The donations will strictly be for forum upgrades, modifactions, and any costs needed for the site. It costs some money for the forum, and monthly costs for the server, but I

really don't mind paying it, I'm just glad the forum turned into what it did. But some guys said they'd like to donate, so I'm setting this up.

 

Also, I'd like to mention, I told Gsnarls to send a $1 payment to test it, to make sure it was working, and he went ahead and sent $50. So thanks so much. I told him the whole point of this

was so he didn't have to donate a lot lol.

 

And if anyone has any other ideas for forum modifications, let me know. If we all agree on it, we can do it. I've been trying to get something to link the stands off the forum, but it's been

hard finding something that works. I think MLB doesn't like their content shared for some reason, as you can tell by rarely seeing any MLB videos on youtube.

I'd pm this but maybe a few guys are wondering this too. Would there be a way to set up a recurring donation of some kind? Like, I'd part with 5 bucks a month no prob to keep this place going but sometimes I just forget to donate.

Nah, you know what, this was good. I'm more than happy with guy contributed to help out. Guys were generous, but even if it was only enough to cover a month's costs I would have been happy. I'll put a banner up in the near future and it'll bring in a few bucks. Maybe I can set up something where guys that donated don't see the banner at all.

Just requires more scrolling past useless junk, and there are too many people on this forum that would abuse this by thinking they were funny.

 

If they were significantly limited in size and an option to hide, that's fine with me.

Most forums do have an option to disable signatures:

So if we could get them implemented with a similar option, I don't think it would harm or irritate anybody, while making the forum more diverse and letting people customize their profiles and posts further.

No, Admin wanted more activity on the board through the slow offseason.

I am a software developer, mostly doing C# and asp.net nowadays (web applications and mobile apps, just getting started with Xamarin for Android/IOS), but literally grew up with PHP and MySQL.

What would it take to get basically unlimited messages in our mailboxes? It's a constant problem for most of the people in the fantasy leagues.

In this age of cheap data, I have to think storing a 12kb email shouldn't really be such a problem.
