burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Derozan missed Ross for a wide open alley-oop
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Of course not That s*** is infuriating.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Too many forced shots at the end.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Lol Durant just pissing on Carroll at the end.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 That first quarter... yikes!
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 First loss by double digits is by the bare minimum for double digits to GS, I think I'll take it. First quarter totally f***ed them over.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Its time to start PP. Been wasting valuable min. by not having him start. Siakam shouldn't really see the floor.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 That s*** is infuriating. There was no foul
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 There was no foul Well... I was going by the fellas calling the game saying Green(sp?) made contact... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Forgive my noobness.

I mean PPat still plays 30+ mins every night regardless so it's not a huge deal. It's a curious strategy by Casey in starting Siakam over Patterson but he's quick to switch him out if s*** hits the fan early. I think he really enjoys having PP come in as a the 6th man rather than have him starting where his game is exposed more.

Yeah but by starting him you can have him stagger his rest breaks so he doesn't have stretches where he's playing 12 min in a row making him more effective. He's basically starting the 3rdQ of every game now and is always on the court in crunch time. His game would have already been "exposed" if that were the case. He's a top 3 player on the team.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Well... I was going by the fellas calling the game saying Green(sp?) made contact... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Forgive my noobness. They're great commentators but massive homers. Do you know on what basis shooting fouls are called?

TheHurl Site Manager Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Can find the Raps as high as 8 to 1 to win the East. (6.25-1 on my site). Probably worth a $20-$50 flyer hoping for a Lebron injury or that the Raps steal home advantage. There is no other team in the East that is at all scary.

I've never seen odds like that (except maybe last year lol). No one is scary, but the Bulls are scary to the Raptors. They haven't faced them yet this year and Butler and Wade have been traditional Raptors-killers. Hope they miss the playoffs again then I see a clear path to the Conference finals for the Raptors. Unlike previous seasons, this team has proven it can dismantle mediocre teams night in and night out.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 I could see the Celtics possibly beating the Raptors. While you are betting on a Lebron injury you are also betting on Lowry staying healthy and with the minutes he's playing its a little scary.

I don't see the Celtics as a threat to the Raps at all, whether Thomas is healthy or not. Obviously if one of our star players (mainly Lowry) gets injured it hurts our chances tremendously, but that's true for every team not named GSW or Cleveland with a non-Lebron injury.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 They're great commentators but massive homers. Do you know on what basis shooting fouls are called? For the most part, yes. I know Durant got all ball, but they were saying Green made contact, while DeRozan was going up to shoot. I didn't really look at the replay after, I was typing on here, lol.

IMO for the Raps to end up with the Celts in the playoffs it would mean they were the #1 seed. I don't like the Celts D at all and if the Raps were healthy I really don't see them as a legitimate threat. Both teams healthy I'd give the Raps a 40% chance of winning against the Cavs with home advantage. So my bet is based on that and hoping for a LeBron injury. Raps staying healthy is also not likely and I understand that. Like most bets it's about value.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 This offensive start is just as bad as last night. Thank God we're playing Phoenix.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I like the Celtics but they are not a threat whatsoever.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 watch them get swept in the 1st round by the pistons
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Why has Bebe been playing the perimeter for 7 f***ing minutes?
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Why has Bebe been playing the perimeter for 7 f***ing minutes? ...better than DD...
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 ...better than DD... It's probably because of DD. Someone's been floating. Suns reaaaaaaaaaaaally like to bitch at refs
43211234 Verified Member Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Powell just can't seem to finish on drives.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Patterson injury sounds concerning. Outside Lowry he's the one guy they really can't afford to lose. PF depth is crap.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 The Raptors have been quite garbage on this road trip. Lowry bailed them out vs the Jazz and they barely beat a crappy Blazers team without its star player. Losing to the Suns is bad
