So a top six team in the East, you're saying? Not bad, if they beat the Cavs they can go like 15-1 in a 16 game window, that's good.

Pretty much this. They have to upgrade in a couple of areas to really make a push. I've never been a fan of Barrett and that's not changing. 

I'm a bigger fan of Shead than Quickley, but I haven't given up on Quickley. Interested to see where this current roster maxes out. They're fun though, and headed in the right direction. 

NBA cup is a good thing for a team like this.

Yeah I think they could finish in the range when all is said and done at the end of the season for sure.

Wow, the league came down HARD on the Clippers. It looks like Leonard should be cleared to join the Raptors though.

Yeah, that’s a pretty massive hammer if the reporting is accurate. The Clippers situation always felt like it could get ugly once the league started digging into the Kawhi/endorsement stuff.

 

If Leonard is actually cleared to join Toronto, that would be wild on so many levels. Obviously health is the giant question with him, but even a managed-minutes Kawhi changes the ceiling of a team fast. I’d be cautiously excited, but also very ready for the “he’s out tonight” updates.
