He's been below average for like ~5 years probably. But I think he's only just now, at 41 and 42, approaching the s*** (i.e. replacement level) tier.

If the team sucked I'd be open to that idea. But now is not the time to get sentimental. There is no one I would displace from the current roster just to make room for Vince Carter.

Didn't watch the game so I'm gonna assume this comment isn't sarcasm, but if true, that's kind of on the Raps. If a blown call makes them lose focus that badly that's something they need to get a grip on. One play at a time...and they need to buckle down and shut that s*** down when adversity rears its head. Can't crumble and let another team get life.
