Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Toronto Huskies all f***ing day. Yeah or that
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Toronto Huskies all f***ing day. Fun fact: They already considered that before naming the team but nixed it because it would be too close in likeness to Minnesota's loser team.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Toronto Huskies all f***ing day. I remember Toronto-Saurus Rex being thrown out there when they were canvassing for team names.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 The Raps were really not good last night. 21 turnovers. Didn't share the ball nearly as much as they have been with only 17 assists... And they still got the win. It's great that they're able to overcome that sloppiness and get the W... Just hope they don't get cocky and think they can get away with that too often.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Now that LBJ is gone, it’s almost ok to sip the kool-aid for you guys
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Now that LBJ is gone, it’s almost ok to sip the kool-aid for you guys Only if it's spiked. Being a sports fan in Toronto you're accustomed to expecting s*** to go sideways.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Only if it's spiked. Being a sports fan in Toronto you're accustomed to expecting s*** to go sideways. At least we don't lose our teams, and have s***** ones from the ones that are left like Seattle and San Diego. Or have that happen AND have to live vicariously through another city's teams 4,000 km away that happens be in the same country like Vancouver does. Sports fans in Toronto are so defeatist. It CAN get much worse.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 It certainly feels like we got something special going this year. Something different from years past.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 Now that LBJ is gone, it’s almost ok to sip the kool-aid for you guys Wish he was still in the conference. Kawhi led raptors would slap the s*** out of cleveland this year.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 It certainly feels like we got something special going this year. Something different from years past. It does. But I felt like that last year too when we were regularly beating teams by 10, 15, 20 points and racking up easy wins. Hope it's different this playoff season.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 Think the chances that the NBA title goes to the east this year is fairly better then years past.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Butler delt to the 76’s for Saric, Covington, Bayless and a second rounder.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Butler delt to the 76’s for Saric, Covington, Bayless and a second rounder. f***!
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 f***! My thought indeed!
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 My thought indeed! First place in the East will be so important. At least you save yourself from going through a team like Philly or Boston in the 2nd round. Milwaukee might even be in the mix for the 2nd or 3rd seed like they are now at the end of the season if they continue playing this well. The East just got a lot tougher.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Dirty first Q for the Raps. Lol.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Dirty first Q for the Raps. Lol. I think someone put a lid on the baskets while we were away.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 This is the third game in a row that the Raps have been atrocious with the turnovers.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 This is the third game in a row that the Raps have been atrocious with the turnovers. They’ll be fine. ;-)
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 They’ll be fine. ;-) Not if this continues as a trend
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Ibaka is differen player under Nurse.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Not if this continues as a trend Up by 11. They’ll be fine.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Siakim is turning into something special
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Up by 11. They’ll be fine. I'm not talking about this game specifically
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Siakim is turning into something special He really is.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 The Raptors are good at basketbol.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Siakim is turning into something special I'm so glad they didn't have to trade Siakim in the Leonard trade!
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Not sure how I feel about this team so far despite the amazing start. If you looked at the schedule at the start of the year you wouldn't have called it easy by any means, but so far all the expected better teams the Raptors have beat have s*** the bed. Meanwhile the Bucks have made a few statements already, manhandling some good teams, Raptors included. The rest of November is looking pretty easy except one in Boston and the Warriors come in at the end of the month. This team should be entering December with no more than 3 losses.
