RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Well here we are another game 7
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Maybe you guys should stop trying to compare basketball players to baseball. DeRozan was a very efficient scorer this year, he wasnt a volume shooter. Ive mentioned this for probably a couple of years now but Demar has success in the regular season when the intensity is lower and he can bully less talented/smaller players. The minute he goes against someone his own size and they go into post season try hard mode, he crumbles. Our fearless coach never seems to address and just trots him out there because he's "earned" the chance to either let this team succeed or fail. If both of them aren't gone this offseason, regardless how well they do on Sunday or in the second round, I'm done. I will honestly be shocked if Casey is gone if we make the second round. Just was given a new contract and gets the team "one step closer" to the finals, can't see Masai firing him
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Speaking of stupid, what's with the playoff scheduling? Round 1 series aren't even over and round 2 is already started?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Speaking of stupid, what's with the playoff scheduling? Round 1 series aren't even over and round 2 is already started? It's always like that
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Speaking of stupid, what's with the playoff scheduling? Round 1 series aren't even over and round 2 is already started? Thats way better than the way the NHL does it where 2 teams will sit out for a week waiting for the other conference's games to finish.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Raps s*** the bed and drop this one per usual.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I think they'll win this one. they'll s*** the bed hard against miami though
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Let's go Pacers! I don't really care about basketball, but if they win i cash my ticket (that had the Jays, white Sox and Royals on it) Btw, The Pacers are massive underdogs (thus why i picked them) Seems a little strange for a game 7 for a team to be so heavily favored after being blown out and it being a game 7. Anyone know why? Did a player on the Pacers die or something?

Swervin81 Verified Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 That's more like it, DeMar. Quick and decisive. Not hesitating and ISOing all the time.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 First superstar call for George in this game/first BS call on JV.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 DeRozan Iso end of quarter, not even close. f***ing shocked
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 At Least Lou seemed to hit every once in a while
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 derozan's going to score 30 on like 28 shots and he'll get all the credit if they win
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 derozan's going to score 30 on like 28 shots and he'll get all the credit if they win How else would this go
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 norm's our best wing, play him the whole game casey
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Powell defends better than DeRozan, shoots better, is more aggressive, defends a lot better, plays with more energy. Gets half the PT
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 And they waive off JV's And1 because..reasons
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 And they waive off JV's And1 because..reasons He took like 4 steps lol
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 f***in Derozan needs to not have the ball on the end of Q possessions. It always results in a terrible shot.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 What shot, he bounces the ball off his foot half the time
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 And there goes DD's TS% below 50 for the game. Holy f***ing f***.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 6-16 15 points, that's an improvement i guess lol
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 6/16 yuck. He just needs to stop forcing shots. If he's driving to the rim with space he's great but if I see him shoot off the dribble from 17 feet again I'm gonna puke
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I think they got this easy. I bought out a guys Raptors in 7 bet after game 5 for a nice price (twice his price but a third of the total value), so I might be biased here.
