Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 So we used all the cap space to sign 3 role players? K.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Se we're just going to keep demar on the last year of his contract? He's either going to walk for nothing or they're planning to sign him to an extension. Both of those things are bad for us.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Almost 22 million on DeMarre and Joseph. Still not sure about this.

jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Demare isn't a role player, he's a legit key starter
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Wat Wat wat? Care to explain how Carroll, Joseph, and Biyombo are the stars we needed to take this team to the next level? Cause I'm not seeing it.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 So we used all the cap space to sign 3 role players? K. Your dumn
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Demare isn't a role player, he's a legit key starter Pretty big dollars for a guy who's incapable of being an offensive focal point. He's really more of an all-around glue guy.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Your dumn That's been well established, but I'd bet against this team winning 45+ games next year or making it past the 1st round.
TRM Verified Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 That's been well established, but I'd bet against this team winning 45+ games next year or making it past the 1st round. Bolded is dumn Second part is a reasonable statement given its only happened once ever.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 It's not dumn at all. This team drastically over-performed in the 1st half. There's a very real chance this isn't even a .500 team next year. I fail to see how Joseph is going to replace the output of Lou and Vasquez in the backcourt, we're going to be really f***ed when Lowry inevitably hits the wall and gets dinged up.

This looks like a board wager in the making.

If the offense doesnt change you are probably right. However Lou was an iso chucker who the team started following suit. I don't even want to get started on GV - I will easily eat crow if CoJo isn't far superior to him in every aspect. It's Ross and CoJo (not just Cory) replacing GV and Lou. I don't think replacing the production will be a problem at all. My biggest worry right now is our rebounding with Patterson starting at the 4.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 You need at least two star-level offensive options to be a contender in the NBA. DeRozan isn't that and never will be, he's a volume scorer who really can't make things happen against elite teams.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 You won't own either of those players probably by the time we'd close on this bet.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Nah, I'll never bet against a team I cheer for. I'm just not a deluded homer like you suckers.
Frag Verified Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Man, Paul Pierce is insufferable. And has no idea how to use a smartphone.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 No, your just dumn. Dr. Dumn. Carroll had a .579 eFG, 117/104 rtg, 34th in the entire league with a 2.7 VORP, placed 23rd in the entire league in Wins Produced with 11.2.
