He did have them playing hard though and busting their asses off so you had to give him credit for that. I dont have the numbers on me but their record vs teams they "were supposed to beat" was phenomenal and they didnt take games off. Lately its just one giant cluster f*** though and Im gonna pop a blood vessel soon if Vasquez and Lou see extended time on the court together.

JV's minutes are basically wasted while on the floor with those two. It's almost completely pointless to have him on with the 2nd unit... Just wasting energy.

Lowry is the only guy who consistently feeds JV.

Yea JV seems almost completely misused on both ends of the court. His strengths are rebounding and low post offence and on defence he can hold his own 1 on 1 but he's slow and pretty stupid so his help defence and covering ball screens are pretty terrible.

Yet they seem to ignore him on offence even when he has it going and the whole defensive schemes seem to be centered around quick rotations and effective communication. JV isnt the type of center you want quarterbacking a defence the same way Tyson Chandler does/did so well with the Mavs ( Im beginning to highly suspect hes the main reason Casey was labeled this defensive genius). Look at what Thibs does with the bulls ; the focus is on cutting off ball screens and forcing the ball and dribblers east/west.

Even Magloire knows that the pizza/beer combo there is just glorious.

I heard Bruno Caboclo and Lucas Nogueira have been spotted there several times as well haha. The staff nicknamed Nogueira "Sideshow Bob" lol.

One of the most annoying things on defense for me - JV has been taught or ignores his teachings and does this on his own: retreats to the high post immediately on PnR into a no mans land where he isn't covering the ball handler or the low post threat.

Raps schedule has been as easy as it gets. Just realized the sixers are going to be on a b2b tomorrow as was their last 3 opponenets Detroit, Boston and Charlotte.

Ya that 8 year long road trip was easy as it gets

Knicks are shopping some guys named Calderon and Bargnani. Never heard of them. Good fits for our team?

I heard they can really anchor a defense.

Patterson, Amir and Hansbrough all don't just drop back so Im assuming it's a mobility issue and he's just not quick enough to show hard and recover in time. It's easily the thing I hate most about his game. I also question who instructed him to bulk up this off season because his rookie season he seemed a lot more agile and showed promise at least on the defensive side of the ball.

Last two seasons he has been quite a bit slower than year 1, he was almost bouncey that year. If he can shore up that PnR defense to be even average, we will have something pretty good here I think

I've never understood why people consider the turnovers category when talking about double/triple/quadruple doubles. Unless you're referring to free throws.

How bout Boogie Cousins stat line tonight, near quadroubple double while fouling out. 32 Pts (11-21FG, 10-10 FT), 16 REB, 9 AST, 9 TO, 6PF

I don't think turnovers can be counted towards a quadruple double...

I was just assuming it was a joke. Clearly does not count towards it, only pts asts rebs blks and stls count
